If we had a number 6 they'd never touch the ball. Whats your point?
yep. if wolves had bollocks they’d be my auntie.

Makes absolute senseIf we had a number 6 they'd never touch the ball. Whats your point?
Don’t think that is anyone’s fault but his own. If that. He’s just not good enough yet. He's completely derailed dvb. Like to the point he may never see the pitch again. Rashford has gotten worse since ole arrived. Pogba has been inconsistent since he arrived and was already a top tier player before he met ole. Bruno has been fine. Greenwood looks fine. James hasn't evolved at all. Martial gotten worse.
Ole is great at managing the personalities of players but can't help them strategically at all
It's the fact Souness was praising Burnley and their roughhouse tactics earlier and that referees are letting things go, then says this was a leg breaker. Hypocrite.I disagreed when people said it was a foul on Bruno last week and I think that wasn't a foul by Pogba either. It's a physical game-Wolves outfought us a lot at times today but I don't know why they're crying about that tackle when contact was minimal. There really wasn't much in Pogba's challenge.
I'm actually liking this more lenient approach by the refs![]()
Yeah. Problems today were tactical / manager-induced. Fred is not a great holding midfielder, he never will be and we clearly need a better one, but he didn't do anything terrible today and he wasn't the worst player, neither did he personally cause any major problems. Can't see why Fred gets such a poor rating. He was fairly solid in his performance.
They’ve been as good in all three games this season.
Their problem is finishing chances and ours is getting a flow through midfield

Cry some more
Not sure Richard Keys is in any place to call Ole embarrassing. What was supposed to be embarrassing?
It Wolves had a number 9 or Adana could finish we’d lose that match.
Yup, it’s a great win and seen it a lot of times in the past
How we have so many upset supporters after today I will never understand

Are you being obtuse on purpose? First, I didn't talk about Wolves but just pointed out how poor we have been the last 2 games. You can say the same for Wolves. a number 9 is not gonna matter for them unless their coaching improves.
Yes I thought we rode out their pressure in the first half and we kept them out thanks to having a top keeper we way 370k a week to play for us. But in the second half post the subs and tactical changes it was only going to be one winner and that was us. Is that lucky? Or just having a good GK and striker? People act as if all games we play must be compete domination and if the other team even competes it was a disgrace. You actually watched that game and thought we weren't lucky to win?
Yeah, already pointed that out in the Varane thread. Seemed to be a clear foul by Sais.Quick question... That double save, wasn't that a foul on Varane?
First few games I feel it’s ok to be disjointed and ride your luck a lot. We did it too much last season throughout though which worries me.
The post I was replying to did mention Wolves. Also Wolves have a 9 - Jimenez - who's rated quite highly as a striker. Are you being obtuse on purpose? First, I didn't talk about Wolves but just pointed out how poor we have been the last 2 games.
Moreover, a #9 for Wolves would actually improve them as they are creating chances but not being able to finish them.
On the other hand, we are stacked with amazing talent in the forward areas and still barely had any good football played. That clearly shows that it's not just the players, it's a lot to do with how we sre coached. Wolves ran us ragged today and we were very lucky to get the win when they had the 2 best chances of the game.
No point discussing it with that poster. He's got his red-tinted specs on. We were very lucky to get the win.You actually watched that game and thought we weren't lucky to win?
Nah, I still think he can become a decent squad player; certainly wouldn’t expect more than that for the money we paid but hope springs eternal. They bought a player for 35m and haven't given him any consistent gametime yet. That is 100 percent a failure on whoever decided to buy him. You don't get a player and never give him a chance regardless of how he is in training. Bad scouting and a bad decision to buy him
People are two blind to see that the things wrong with performances like today and vs Southampton, and a dozen or so matches last season are not things a CDM will fix. That’s just a bunch of what if’s. What if they had this and what if they if had that. Other way around could be what if Ronaldo was playing today? What if Cavani was fully match fit and starting ahead of Dan James? What if Rashford was fully match fit and ready to be called upon? What if we had a DM instead of Fred that can keep hold of possession and play intelligent passes from deep? End of the day, we won. That’s all that matters in the end. Don’t care how you do it, as long you win. Was it an ugly performance? Yes. Do we need to sign a midfielder before the window shuts? Yes. But did we win the game which was the main target for today? Yes.
Where are you going to hang it? Over the mantlepiece?
Yes because we won a hard fought game it was complete luck. Mason just randomly hit the ball in the air and it just went in on its own.No point discussing it with that poster. He's got his red-tinted specs on. We were very lucky to get the win.

I don’t think it’s much of an argument to claim a player should be selected even if he’s not justifying it in training. But hey he’s probably not that far away from getting some minutes here and there - he has to take his chance, that’s how it’s always been.
