Liverpool Milan, the memories. I think Barcelona Bayern is the other one I’ll watch.

Some decent games in here. Barcelona - Bayern, Liverpool - AC Milan, Atletico - Porto, Inter - Real all look promising. Are those really the teams in group G?

No idea what to expect from Messi-less Barca, but of course Bayern vs Barca is one of the highlights of the season. They'll surely be out for revenge, and we have question marks around Gnabry and Lewandowski... fingers crossed for both teams at full strength.

Had a peak at their forum yesterday, and their supporters were rather busy crapping their pants. Anyway, couldn't think of a better way than to start the season with a Camp Nou away game:)

Why are we playing early?
There are always two early games on each Champions League match day and looking at the last couple of seasons they are trying to put in a game that includes a popular club but is not at the same a big hitter.

Young Boys FC was founded in 1898. They're 110 years older than ManCity (2008).

Bayern 8-0 Barca.

Anything is possible.

Although I can’t tell if your slightly overrating present Bayern or not. They really aren’t as good as they used to be. Disclaimer: Still a great team though.

Barcelona on the other hand.. would deserve everything that comes their way.

Bayern seem to slowly get rolling, it's very hard to estimate how Barca will be able to perform, they could still win, but it is absolutely possible that this game ends in tears for them.

What a crap schedule on Tuesday besides Barca-Bayern.

It's not blockbusters, but I think Sevilla against Leipzig's u23 promises to be an interesting game and personally I'm curious to see how Lille and Wolfsburg do. Atalanta also know how to entertain.

Villareal - Atalanta could also be fun, but Wednesday simply has the better matches. And i am definitely not watching Wolfsburg.

So a team called Young Boys plays in a stadium called Wankdorf? Someone was taking the mick with that one surely.

Agreed. Bayern should have too much but they aren't on the same level they were 2 seasons ago, even last season. Feel like Barca might surprise people on here, Messi-less I think in Europe they'll be quite tricky and have some incredible young players coming through now. They will score way less but be a better team.

Opposition's best player missing yet again vs Pool. Their luck is unbelievable.

If r/Barca is right, Barcelona are missing quite a few players tonight, including Fati and Kun.

I know there's early CL games recently, but was it always 5:45?! I thought it was 5:55 or 6pm, maybe I'm thinking of the damn EL.

Yeah it was 17:55, no mention as to why the change though.
UEFA Europa Conference League

The name of the third UEFA club competition was approved as UEFA Europa Conference League and its commercial concept was also ratified. The new competition, which will start in 2021, will have matches played on Thursdays with kick-off times at 18:45 CET and 21:00 CET, similar to the UEFA Europa League. The new early kick-off time will also be used for UEFA Champions League matches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as of 2021 repalcing the current 18:55 CET kick-off.
