Villa with two decent chances but came from individual errors from Maguire and Shaw. The latter going off injured doesn't help matters today or the games ahead.

Fred's so good at winning balls high up the pitch. Shaw was poor yet again. I hope he's alright though.

I don't like Greenwood drifting out to the left. We suck at playing quick combinations on the right side of the pitch. The most we get from there going forward is a cross. That's just not enough and has been our problem for quite a while now.

No control in the Utd game. Plenty of dangerous moments and some very good play at times but it is super open and Villa are a live threat. Making for a great watch.

We really need Rashford back in the front 3 as the lack of pressing that Greenwood and Ronaldo bring is causing issues. Sancho won't help in that regard but the space in this game is made for him as an attacker, need someone who is going to be a little more patient and probing to take advantage of the space instead of trying to rush everything.

A lot of criticism of the midfield but is has been a weird game, front to back quickly from both sides.

Yeah McFred have barely touched the ball but I don't think that's because they're playing badly, it's just the way the game has been.

Although the few times Fred has touched it he either got caught or did a bad pass, so might be for the best...

The midfield is an utter joke. Of course we can't play any decent football when literally both cbs and fbs are better at moving the ball than our midfielders. How come varane and awb are switching 50 yard balls with their left foot but Fred and mctom can't turn and move the ball 10 yards?

Everything is beautiful, I love inverted full backs, Diogo Dalot for Ballon D’or, Ole is the new Fergie, we’re winning the treble, what fantastic defensive organisation we have, what brilliant attacking movement we have. Proper well oiled machine we are. Nothing whatsoever to be worried about.

You don't have to be incessantly negative - repeating a point over and over doesn't make it any stronger over making you stand out for the wrong reasons.

At least balance it out; there are reasons to be positive, even if things aren't playing out as we hope.
