This is really well put. It's bizarre, he can find some serious speed for a lap now and again, but he doesn't really have a racer's instincts.
If Hamilton clears Perez this is going to be tasty as feck.

Great first few laps. Hamilton superb to be 3rd already. This safety car now will suit him absolutely perfectly. Shame for Lando but at least he can catch up now to the pack. Will be interesting once we restart racing.
Bottas should really get into Rally
Mercedes really need Bottas ahead of Perez shortly after this safety car restart, either coming into turn 4 or at the end of the lap.

And yet he's ahead of the standings of Perez who's had a better car this year and probably better race strategy this year too considering the massive feck ups Mercedes have made all year.
It's a farce. Like putting an LMP1 car among LMP4s.
Perez has been disappointing yes. I give him a bit of leeway based on it being his first year there and also the fact that the 2nd Red Bull seat is clearly cursed since Riccardio left.
