Mauricio Amadaeus Pochettino | Chelsea sack watch

From what we're reading it seems like PSG would happily replace Poch with Zidane and yet the reality is we'll probably pay them 10m for them to do it

I've only watched PSG play once this season and in the game Neymar was acting like a on-field coach, showing everyone what to do in defence and attack. Was quite surprised to see that and read their Reddit after the game, where everyone said same thing - Mauricio is incredibly bad at coaching and there's no chance for PSG to win Champions League even with all-time best attacking trio.

Has the sentiment changed?

They want to look top dog, especially now they got egg on the face sacking Tuchel mid season, only to see him winning CL with Chelsea. So they wouldn't want Poch to be seen as jumping ship to a bigger club. They sure love politic.

Pochettino is obviously not gonna say yeah im off lads tara the night before an important CL match. However this screams in the summer to me if we're gonna get him, not before then

He could easily said that he is not interested and he's going nowhere until summer. He instead said "football is in the present" :D

They probably said the same of Tuchel. Maybe the problem lies elsewhere.

What right did he have to win with Spurs? How was he even competing with clubs spending 5 times his budget with better squads?
Excuses. He had a good team, he made it to finals. Now he manages the wealthiest team in a shitty league, it is not going much better

Do you know what bottle means?

When did he bottle it with Spurs?

Always interesting to see non-spurs fans playing the experts on a team they clearly didn't follow...

Really don’t want him. Want Erik.

It’s not excuses though is it? he built a good team and made finals up against teams spending and buying better players, I think Spurs had qualified for the CL once before he joined and that was a Bale carry.

Hes 11 points clear this season at PSG and beat City in the CL it’s not going that bad is it. Touchel left when they were in third last season and we all know what a good coach he is.

He's not gonna come out and say "Please, Manchester, get me out of this shithole!". What he said is basically confirming he wants to leave without actually saying it. It really depends on PSG. Hopefully Zidane tells them yes so both clubs can move with their desired men.

I think we would be much better coached than we are now, but not a dominant side on the front foot under him. Pragmatic football with the most expensive squad in the world.

Please no. Try ETH fist, when he doesn't want to come then Pochettino.
There's no evidence we haven't tried for him. But it's obvious he has no plans of leaving until at least the end of the season. And it's a lot of risk to put our eggs on that basket at the end of the season for numerous reasons.

Wouldn’t waste your time on him. He didn’t bottle a champions league final, had no right to win the league with that spurs squad and is doing fine in the french league and Europe.

Escobar is right that Poch still has question marks over him as any manager would but Poch didn’t bottle anything at Spurs.

So now that he's been creaming his pants about PSG can we go for a more progressive manager?
