F1 2021 Season

Such a dud track. I think it has eclipsed my dislike for Sochi, and I didn't know that was possible.

Still, it sets things up perfectly for the last race.

I don’t think a deliberate crash is beyond Max. Every time Lewis has tried to pass him the last 2 races he has forced him off track very deliberately. I hope it doesn’t come to that.

That track was pretty poor as well. I imagine it’s incredible to drive but from a safety point of view it’s madness. So much stop/start and every minor bump is a VSC.

max could get disqualified but I hope that doesn’t happen as it’ll ruin the last race

They have created a monster in Max. Such a shame he’s legendary quick but an absolute bell end.

I do feel somewhat sorry for Verstappen. Perez hasn't been a good partner.

Max summoned to stewards for the alleged brake testing.

My guess is they won't bother but if they do it's one of the most serious punishments.

100% he meant it IMO. You could see/hear how much Lewis was in his head with the “10 car lengths” thing.

Yep! Max will deffo try his best to crash into Lewis and take them both out.
Hopefully he gets the book thrown at him from stewards later and isn't in a position to do so.

As much as I want Hamilton to win it, I don't want the penalty to determine that last race (if Max is to be penalized).

Max will get away with it unless it’s clear as day he braked. F1 got what it wanted, a last race shootout.

I hope not, I dont want the WC decided by a penalty, add point to his super licence, fine him but let them start the next race on level ground.

I think that's what will happen.

I'm a Hamilton fan and want nothing more than Hamilton to beat Verstappen but last race winner takes all is such a rare occasion for f1. I hope any penalty they decide doesnt affect next weeks grid.

I think Max is in trouble. He definitely moved both ways at the end. If he broke too I can see a big penalty - I know brundle is saying he gave him space but he was in the middle of the track!
Wasn't it last race he got called out for zig zagging and they called it very dangerous?

That was epic! I was screaming and livid at Max’s dangerous driving. Hope he gets reprimanded after that shitshow. For his own safety and others.

Having seen the F2 races, I expected there to be a crash or two, but nothing like that.

Honestly, I think Max would struggle to win on those tyres in the end, but he gave the position back twice for the same incident, and still got a 5-second penalty.
Confused about that one. Was the penalty for something else?

Feel like Hamilton had more than enough time and space to react to Max slowing down to let him pass, but then it's difficult to tell how much a car is slowing down from tv images. If he was brake-testing, then it's dirty, but it didn't look like he slowed down that violently. He did seem to move at the end when Lewis was going to the side though. Either Mercedes or the FIA were too slow with the radio messages too. Lewis finding that much pace with a broken end plate is pretty crazy.

Max were a bit reckless in some of the corners, Lewis were wrong to force Max wide after he let him past for like the third time in the race.
Feel like both parties can be understandably aggrieved about events.

Perez and Leclerc crash was down to racing incident. Leclerc had nowhere to go, Perez didn't have much space on the right iirc. Mazepin and Russell crash could've ended up being a lot worse, thankfully seems everyone is okay.

Vettel kept getting hit by everyone.

What a mess.

That inside move from Verstappen when they were three wide into turn 1 was beautiful though.

He should race fairly and we wouldn't have to worry about it.
He's continually showed he isn't willing to do that though.

Put your lifesavings on it. It's happening.

Yep and the Monza incident.

I predict Max will try to take out Lewis next race. He'll probably succeed and the title will be decided by the stewards. So awarded to Max.

Same thing happened to Seb whilst he was with RBR, turned into a different man once he moved over to Ferrari.

It would be a shame but if Max did brake check or move at the last second to cause that impact, they shouldn't have a choice, that is beyond dangerous. Honestly think it was just a communication feck up leading to a clusterfeck. Doesn't excuse the rest of his driving.
Don’t they have the data from the cars to prove it?
Yeah, they should have telemetry to prove it either way.
