Well shit ending to an entertaining season. It will be interesting to see what happens when we get details on what the actual rules are, and the dust settles. Definitely feels like the FIA have selected their current favourite as the seasons winner.
Hopefully next season we have some different teams fighting for the championship.

Don't blame you. I've watched this sport for over 20 years and it's a fecking joke most of the time.
Honestly, I think it's a good thing for the sport that there's a new champion, and that it's not a Mercedes driver.
Red Bull is abandoning their high rake concept for next year, so who knows how they'll stack up to other teams.
Newey have worked wonders in the past with big regulation changes, so they might still be up there, but they might not be.
Hopefully McLaren and Ferrari will also be able to make the step up to challenge for more race wins, maybe even the drivers championship.
I feel like they have the driver talent to be contenders with the right car.
For the controversy in this race, I think it was a good choice by Masi to let it finish as a race, rather than a safety car procession.
There's been controversies earlier in the season that has benefitted Lewis, as there have been controversies that have benefitted Max.
Overall it's been an amazing season, and I want more seasons like this. Very few things gets me as excited as F1 have done this season.

Do you always lose your lead if there's a crash? Regardless of that passing thing everyone is talking about, it still went from like 10 seconds to maybe 1 second just because of the crash
That's the rules, it's the way it's always been. The controversy is letting the 5 drivers in between Hamilton and Max through effectively giving the championship to Max due to the tyre situation. It's like they make decisions nowadays for entertainment purposes instead of actually following the rules.
Don't get me wrong Hamilton has benefitted from his own share of controversial decisions throughout his career.

It undermines the entire sport, it makes a mockery of the whole thing. Unfortunately a lot of people seem to have such frothing-at-the-mouth hatred for Hamilton that they can’t see the bigger picture.

It's such a crappy way to win and Lewis was comfortably winning through the race, but saying Max doesn't deserve it is just not right, even with the controversial driving in recent races (I've been rooting for Lewis too and I cannot stand Max).
Trying to be sanguine about this, I've felt since the start of the season that it was written in the stars that Verstappen would win this title. I didn't think it would be quite such a gift, but sometimes it's just meant to be your year.
