I guess so. But it just doesn’t feel right.

On your theory, it’d be like VAR ruling out Aguero’s goal against QPR 3+ hours after the final whistle when city have already lifted the title because of an ignored foul.

In actually coming around to the idea when I put it like that :lol:

it will certainly give an impressive colour to their streams. that’s not actually a deciding factor in a pissing contest but the fia may decide red bull can win with a shorter distance but more flair.

Horner wins their fight because he'd 100% bring a knife himself. Lewis is a black belt in karate but again, Max might just batter him over the head while he's not looking.

He raced to instructions. Whether right or wrong.

So many variables could have happened. Hamilton could have spun, Max could have gotten past the back markers and took Hamilton out. We don't know. All we do know is who crossed the line first.

Either Max wins it or there needs to be another way

Either way, that's a farcical outcome for the "sport". Allowing rules to be changed on the fly is never going to stick. Misinterpretation of the rules/human error, maybe. But allowing rules to be changed right at the last minute of a title contest? No way they can admit to that, surely.

And who is to guarantee that if those cars wouldn't be let to pass Max on softs wouldn't just drive past them as they are all blue flagged and beat Hamilton.
Verstappen won, that is the end point.
 
Reading this thread and the Dutch media gives me no insight in the chance either Merc or RB have of winning this appel at all.

It's like the US elections at this point.

Being unfair to Max won’t come into it. If the last lap is ruled illegal they’ll go by the results after 57 laps. That’s what the QC will be arguing anyway.

He won by 2 seconds, just getting through those cars would have taken longer than that, and Lewis would have been off in the distance had he not immediately have to defend.
 
firstly Wolf and Horner should be hauled before the authorities for trying to influence the race director. Disgraceful.

Wolf has some serious anger problems.

Best season ever, and what an ending.
Verstappen on the course of the season deserved it in my opinion.

Hamilton was 11 seconds ahead with 4/5 laps remaining and Max was not making much headway.

The facts are that Latifi did crash and Hamilton finished the race without any slow puncture.

Nope ... the fia have changed their own rules in a way that discriminate against the only black driver and one only one who had the balls to protest the lbgqt laws in bahrain Saudi and Abu Dhabi

Either the fia admit a mistake or they issue justification
 
Yeah. If they didn't let any lapped cars past, Lewis would most likely have been 5 to 10 seconds ahead before Max was clear. What a mess. Feel bad for both drivers. Deep down Max will know his first wdc has a * appended to it at the very least. He'll get many more though.
