"Up to 11 players now want to leave United after becoming disillusioned with life at the club."

Someone's been talking...

How oppressive can it be? 'FFS that Ralf, who does he think he is asking us to play more than one game a week?' - 'I'm being expected to lace my own boots? What has come of being a multi-millionaire by the time I'm 21 and having to tie my own boot laces?'

It's tough. The bloke with the funny name wants them to string a few passes together and go and try and get the ball back when we lost it. Where's my agent?

Why? Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solksjaer, Moyes, Southgate all loved him. His team mates adore him. What evidence would there be for him to be a snake?
He's got the face of a snake. That's all the proof I need to throw daggers.

Clue number 1 - he’s posted a picture of himself wearing another team’s fecking kit!
Clue number 2 - he isn’t getting any game time
Clue number 3 - he’s leaving in six months and couldn’t give a toss what gets out and what doesn’t
Clue number 4 - he’s self centred enough to class himself as a brand
Clue number 5 - it’s been happening for years, so he’s been around through different managers

Difficult one this.
Those are barely clues since they can define half our squad right now. Faster this lot gets kicked out, the better it is.

Good , it a may very allow us to go full nuclear and build up from scratch, also means the board will take notice, so this is good in my opinion.

The whole lot of them can feck off. The only one who even can say has any grievance is DVB. The rest of them get to play too much no matter how poor they play.
Since when did players decide who the Manager is going to be?

They just wanna drive Ralf out if this is true. None of them will be willing to take wage cuts and actually leave given no one else is gonna pay even half of what they get here.

I think this situation is an excuse for fans to lash out on players they never appreciated whether it's founded or not. Sad times tbh

They all need to go. All of them. If it means finishing in the bottom half. They're a complete disgrace.

They did the same to Mourinho and Ole let them run roughshod over them. He was the nice guy who gave them free reign and they couldn't even perform for him. The group is toxic and this is what we get for backing them in 2018. This is actually a great opportunity to rid them out. Ralf has just been appointed and none of the previous failures can be associated with him. Get the rats out.

This is part of the long-term plan. So those who want to leave should request to do so.

Those who watched the epic US television series Spartacus will remember the episode Kill Them All.

Well, that would be a bit much, but selling most of them wouldn’t be such a bad idea, if only we could find buyers at reasonable fees. No club is going to stump a fee of any real magnitude for Martial. Pogba walks out on us but I’d like to know who’s going to pay him 300/k per week. Who would want McTominay? Fred? Henderson? Maybe Lingard lands at West Ham but they’ve got a good thing going without him. Maguire has no buyers. AWB, no buyers. Shaw, no buyers. There might be some interest in Bruno, but not from elite clubs. Maybe Newcastle takes a punt on Rashford.

Mates, we’re fecked.

Ralf should have Red Wedding'd the Christmas party.

Probably what happens in the end when you fail to get rid of surplus players. It was obvious from the summer that Lingard, Martial, Henderson, Bailly and a few more would get alot less minutes than they want at this point. Same turned out to be true for Donny. We should have replaced them.

Instead we kept them and created a very toxic environment as sound as things started going against us.

Lingard
Martial
Pogba
VdB
Henderson
Mata
Baily
Cavani
&
Rashford.

I want them all gone. Ideally deGea too, replace him with a modern sweeper keeper.

I know where you are coming from but I think with COVID, having a bigger squad helps though.

If anyone wants to leave, let them leave. I doubt anyone among the players who aren't playing is getting into starting lineup of a top CL side in top 5 leagues as is.

Rashford has been a big problem all along, he thinks he is present day Beckham or Rooney.
Lukaku, despite the man child he was, was sidelined to accommodate Rashford. Now due to Ronaldo and Cavani he has been sidelined and he’s throwing tantrums. seems like he has a lobby of his own, of mainly English players, which is clashing with Portuguese and French contingents.

It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the players were upset over the Ronaldo signing - Or at least some of the cliques were. He gets an ensured starting place, he breaks the wage structure, he changes the expectations and he becomes the primary focus - Now I personally think Ronaldo has done enough in his career to justify special status but we've seen before that these players are just as unprofessional as it gets at this level. In 2018 the Alexis signing pretty was what seemingly caused the divide that destroyed that team with Martial sulking and Pogba being offered to City by Raiola. Mourinho wanted to sell them but the club vetoed it.

There were reports in November that Ronaldo was unimpressed with the squad and that he felt the standards had dropped. There's obviously splits there and it will be a while before this team is a cohesive unit.

Mata has been linked with a move away.

Henderson
Bailly
Pogba
Lingard
Van de Beek
Cavani
Ronaldo
Martial
Mata

After that I’m really struggling. Maybe Luke Shaw? It would still leave one more though.
Rashford

This is really a bunch of spoilt brats isn't it? I have never hated a group of utd players more. Fellaini was more of a utd player than these overpaid cowards.

I highly doubt Ronaldo is one of them. He's probably disillusioned but not with the coaches. There were reports that he was unhappy with the squad in November. If anything I think he'd be firmly in Ralf's camp against the dissenting players and the fact that he's playing every minute and just captained the side would indicate as much.

Beauty of this all is that Ralf can help the next manager identify all these trouble making players and will have guaged whos good enough and who is not so we can build properly.

I feel nothing towards this current squad and would love to see youngsters like Elanga, Amad, Mejbri(After he is back from AFCON) etc get game time instead for the rest of the season and also please play 4-3-3. The "we dont have a DM" thing doesnt matter because apparently our midfield is still crap regardless so we might as well play 4-3-3 and have balance in attack and no more getting over run.

I'd be over the moon if we managed to get rid of 11 players that doesn't want to be here.

If there is any truth in this then the board need to come out with a strongly worded message to give Ralf a vote of confidence. Under no circumstances should the players feel that they can get rid of a coach they don’t like simply by creating a toxic environment in the dressing room and underperforming during matches.

If you give in to this behavior once, they will do it again. This bunch of players have won nothing. Nothing. And yet they act like prima donnas who need to be babysat and mollycoddled all the time. You get paid to do a job. Just shut up and do it.

Nothing short of sacking the troublemakers is going to improve matters. I am hoping the board has the courage to take extreme measures before next season to flush out this pile of shite.

Ole was incredibly popular as was Carrick (maybe mckenna too) so their departure was bound to negatively effect some players - that's human nature. Its Ralfs job to get them onside though - casting everyone aside, as much as fans may want to see it, is never the right managerial approach in any setting never mind the short term result obsessed business of football. If he doesn't get a tune out of them his long term plan and his new coaching team will be in the toilet and they'll be replaced by the next big idea the board cook up

I'm not saying the players are without criticism, I'm not saying some shouldn't be moved on but this situation, everything laid out in these tweets is precisely what Ralf is here to fix. This is his job and he needs to get on with it fast because otherwise he'll be replaced too

This is so true.

I actually really look at this as a huge opportunity to root out the players who've caused problems for years. The club and the fans will need to be strong though because there's going to be some ugly moments ahead. There is far more important work to be done at this club than securing top four. I think the appointment of Rangnick is an indication that the club is finally aware of that as his pedigree has been in giving club's direction. If the fans start pushing for Rangnick to be sacked in a few months then they could buckle and we'll be back to square one with the same group who've let down so many managers.

The club is at a crossroads similar to the summer of 2018. That time I think we chose the worst possible path and let a bad situation fester rather than doing anything about it. This time we've got to commit to the manager and the long term plan we envisioned. Let him evaluated who he thinks we can persist with and who are causing the problems so that his successor can inherit a united group of players who can buy into the project.

We are already due an exodus in the next two summer windows This is just the rags taking advantage of Ralfs first loss to bring the knives out.

Pogba
Martial
Lingard
Henderson
Donny
Matic
Mata
Cavani
Andreas

That's nine that are already 90% leaving. And it's a good thing, get the lazy entitled players out and bring in fresh ideas and fresh legs.

Why is our interim manager who's going to advise on sporting matters after the summer being sabotaged like this? He's not going away just because he isn't the manager anymore. And thank feck because we desperately need some long term planning.

If this is indeed coming from the players they should be booted anyway. Rangnick's been here for five games ffs.

I hope he can stamp his authority on the locker room and whoever doesnt like it can feck off. Half these players are subpar and its about time a manager took control and started doing things the right way. Those that dont want to be here should just go.

It's been apparent for a long time there is a bad attitude in many of our players - gone are the days when a player is fired on the transfer list for not cutting the mustard.

Usually rewarded with a new contract 'to protect value' as well as a nice tiktok vid of their best bits!

The players that want out aren't necessarily the lazy entitled ones.

Some of the players you mentioned are hard working pros.

So no actual quotes, just mere soundbites from an unknown source in an unknown position.

And everybody loses their crap over it.

Again, a nothing story driven by the media's ability to create a mountain out of a molehill.

Ask yourselves, Would this have been a story had we drawn or won to Wolves?

Good question but the most damning thing is the writing has been on the wall for a while.

Because Ole was a nice guy all these feckers have been taking advantage of it.
The club should find out who has been spreading this story and if it's a player fine and suspend him. If it's a staff, sack him and name him.
Give all the power to the Manager to do whatever he wants.

That's what you get for giving 100k+ contracts to ungrateful, talentless SOBs

I agree, but zero articles this damning, and rifts to this degree don't happen overnight, so why wait untill we lose to Wolves to release this story?

I near enough guarantee its a story that the journalists have had from their 'source' from the second week of RR's regime, yet due to no losses, they haven't had the right time to release it.
One mediocre performance, and one poor performance with a loss and boom, there it is.
Yet the reaction on here is why the media do this, because people lap it up.
