There formation is having us off today. Need both our wingers to help track back. There’s tons of space for there wing backs because our full backs are always tucked in. We need to up our game in the second halve and go for the 3rd, we can’t trust ourselves with a 1 goal lead.

That’s just not true. If you ever defend in that position your arm comes up as you shuffle sideways. It’s completely natural. Then when you try to pull your body around to get it out of the way your arm often ends up like Telles’ did.

Firstly I do believe Ronaldo is part of the problem but not the main problem and without him we’d be in a much worse position this season.

On his salary though, I think you need to consider the commercial income which he brings to the club too. Nobody brings in as much commercially as Ronaldo does, both directly and indirectly.

Your arm comes out at like 45 degrees to maintain balance. Then when you pull it back it ends up in that higher up position. He literally tries to move his arm out of the way.

When we need to work harder to keep Spurs away from our area. When we press them high we've panicked them into mistakes. However, we have not really pressed. We've preferred to try and mid block and win the ball in the middle third to use space in behind. Silly goal to give away but it is just what happens when our defence is under it.

Does nobody remember the rio and vidic days?! Rio was a liability, pissing around on the ball, half asleep at least once a month.. Our defence might not be great but it's rarely been relaxing, even at our best!

First half shows jsut how weak we are in so many areas. We are terrible without the ball.

I thought we were ok full backs wise a couple of years ago but Telles simply cant defend, SHaw has gone bag to stagnant, DAlot doesnt do anything very well and Bissaka has regressed to poor again.

Matics legs have gone but still he is the one midfielder who can read the game and move into the right areas even if spurs crawl round him with east and RAshord and Pogba again done sod all of any note.

Thought Sancho has had his best game for us so far that first half, Ronaldo desptie regressing, give him the ball in the final third and he will get goals and Fred I think is having one of his better games.

We need at least one mroe goal though as liek many sides, SPurs are workign there way to our box with absolute ease time and time again
