La liga 2021/22

We battered them away too. Think we might just be a really bad match for them. They're also not really that good honestly

4-1 now

yeah, fair enough. How are you feeling about the return leg against psg? I’m sure you guys will play better in this coming match.

I don't get it it's 4-1 why add 4min of added time?
Just whistle at the 90th min

I expect we'll actually play this time.

But they still have Mbappé

I don't get why Ancelotti hasn't given more minutes to Camavinga.

I mean, if you're Mbappé, would you care about playing your best on agricultural fields against a bunch of farmers?

He actually did, otherwise he wouldn't be PSG top scorer since he joined them.

Plus, La Liga isn't looking good now, so i guess he would move to Spain to play against olive, orange, and tomato farmers :D

Everybody knows Spanish farmers are the best in the business

Elche just scored vs Barcelona, goal by Fidel.

Elche 1 Barcelona 0.

Deserved lead. Just need to hang on, I like how we have played overall.

Good win for Barca ultimately even if the penalty was a bit dodgy. Ferran really needs to learn how to finish though. He just wastes way too many chances.

Wasn’t dodgy at all, elche defender elbowed the ball, wasn’t a natural movement at all in fairness

Uuuuuh. Lucky there at the end with the non-penalty call on Alba

All in all though, bit squeaky but another convincing performance. Seems they have really turned the corner

not at all, Alba arm was close to his body. It was in a natural position. Every team definitely gets dubious calls but elche did not deserve a penalty today. I’ve definitely owned up when Barca get dodgy penalties but honestly today elche were not robbed.

All the goals that F. Torres scores with Spain are missed with Barcelona.

I was surprised by the line-up, Barcelona have 4 wingers and Gavi played on the left winger.
Which Torres entered Barcelona began to create many more chances.

Not remotely. If De Jong and Ferran could finish, the game would have been over long ago.

We’ve scored a lot lately and Torres has been absolutely superb in just about every aspect…but the finishing my god. Just…wtf.

It's quite something, isn't it? It's like he finds new and interesting ways in every game to not score

Crucial win for Atleti at Betis today as the latter drops out of the CL spots for the first time in 3 months. Fees like the day Barca and Atleti restore order for good in Liga this season.

How? Just how is that guy not sent off?? That’s bizarre after going to the monitor and seeing two feet in slow motion.

Sevilla drop points again, not sure they will take 2nd place now, Barcelona is in better form with games in hand, lets see.

Kudos to Xavi for the amazing turnaround of Barca. If he came in earlier, Barca could have made it to the next round of the Champions League. How the hell did they stick with Ronald Koeman for so long?!

Dembele with two very good looking assists. If he can stay fit then he’s still an insane talent.

Their wealth of talent in the squad is incredible. Reckon they will challenge Real again next year in the league, which would be some turnaround since the summer of 2021. Puts our "rebuilding since 2013" to shame...

Unlikely, considering he'd still would have had to play Memphis-De Jong-Dest in attack. Besides Xavi, the reason they are good now is Pedri is fit, Dembele is fit, they signed Ferran, Auba, Adama and Dani Alves

Barca picking up their form just in time to play Madrid next week. Should be a cracker

Galatasaray first; if they get knocked out, it will be the same old anxiety/depressing thoughts again...

But a 1-4 would certainly boost their confidence.

Barcelona looking strong again. They have a really good squad although noone at Messi level.

People forgot about that. Anyway not sure how they have the money for such a deep squad given the problems they recently had?

Messi had insane money, but also must have generated a large part of it by being at the club.

Gavi is just another astonishing talent like Pedri. Skill and maturity beyond their years.

This. While Koeman was indeed awful, the squad was also pretty rubbish. Xavi needed these decent ish players that Barca managed to sign in the winter but even then, I'm not sure the likes of Koeman would have done well even with the current squad.
