Rashford considering his future...

I hate most of you with passion for going against Marcus & the club.
If you can’t deal with it then leave this forum and take care of yourself and your family. It’s not worth it to the point of harming yourself as this much amount of hate can’t be good for anyone’s health. If such a minor thing bothers you that much then i advise you to leave Manchester United and football altogether because you seem incapable of handling your emotions if people posting on a forum with differing opinions create that much hatred inside of you.

Calling his performance whatever it was they said. That's really brave isnt it? And how exactly does that make the situation any better?

You're all the Mark Goldbridge generation. Don't have a clue what it means to be a supporter.

I don't rate Pogba which is widely known on here. But I don't send him direct messages of hate or wait for him outside Old Trafford to rant at him though.

What is it that you're thinking it achieves? It makes things worse if anything.

So calling out his bad performance is now classed as abuse now?

All hecklers are twats. They push for a reaction then post it on the internet the moment they get one.

It's true, kind of. It's difficult to understand unless you're a northerner or even explain for that matter. The "go on boys" comment may sound rather innocuous, but it's not. It can mean a lot of things, none of them friendly.

Rashford is an idiot for responding though. He gave the guy exactly what he wanted and now he's probably regretting it.
It does mean something, it means you can at least stop for a photo after that shit show of a performance.

Reckon he would have a year ago and owned his poor performance/s.

Rashford looks done, mate. The fact that he even reacted to that comment is evidence of that. Sad to see, especially after the Greenwood fiasco.

It's just the worst season ever.

Hecklers deserve everything they get.

"After that performance, go on boys" essentially translates as "feck off you twats" up north. The fan was baiting him for a reaction.
what are you talking about, "come on rashford, come on boys" in a crowd of young kids wanting an autograph? You think they were looking for a tear up?

I mean there was certain irony in his tone but I still think the reaction was out of proportion. Allegedly kids and people were waiting for them for photos and autographs; he might no be in the mood for it but it looks really bad that he can't stop for an autograph but he can make time to pick up a fight when his ego gets hurt. That's not the type of engagement professional footballers should have with their match going fans.

What Neymar and Messi received was a lot more brutal and direct so when I saw his tweet I was expecting some real abuse, or at least something more substantial and serious. Like you said he shouldn't had got engaged with that fan. Then I also think it looks very poor on footballers and celebrities when they challenge regular people while surrounded by security it does make them look like cowards as there's no way someone is going to jump on them, even if they're being provoked (which I don't think it was the case).

Let's all calm down lads. I get that he has been performing absolutely terribly in a team that is also performing awfully. I don't think there is a need to get so personal with our insults. Whether he ends up re-discovering his form or ends up being sold we don't have to stoop to this level toxicity. I for one truly hope he is able to re-discover his form even though it seems so unlikely. :(

Aye, it’s definitely the worst season I can remember in living memory, thinking about it would nearly give you a headache.

I think you’re probably right Rashford knows he’s playing terrible and likely won’t get it back, as you say doesn’t look good.

That doesn't excuse Rashford's reaction, though. He's smarter than that and should no better. He's obviously fed up with his poor performances and hit out.
This is a joke right?

Ladies and gents we have ourselves a "Top Red".

Funny how the useless disgusting hypocrite has his PR campaign in full swing about how much he cares about kids, yet he happily swans off after (after yet another subzero out of ten performance) leaving kids standing in the cold for hours without an autograph. Didn't even man up and apologise after it in his beloved social media afterwards.

I yell ya something, Becks had a superstar lifestyle but he always signed autographs after games and never stopped trying on the pitch. Rashford gets a little bit of recognition and see how it goes to his head. It's not about new age fans, it's about new age players. And Rashy is the worst of them in terms of attitude.

what are you talking about, "come on rashford, come on boys" in a crowd of young kids wanting an autograph? You think they were looking for a tear up?

Obviously not a tear up, no. He was just telling him to jog on or words to that effect. You probably already know this.

It makes no difference what the guy said, Rashford shouldn't have responded regardless. I can't help but feel for him, though. I think he's a good guy deep down, but his performances are affecting him to the point that can't even rise above hecklers anymore. Just feel like the guy was intentionally antagonizing him, kicking him when he's down. He needs a long time out to consider his options, and if that means he has to leave then so be it.

Is this true? Can somebody else from Manchester confirm this?

The fan was a twat and deserved the abuse. If you can give it you can take it as far as I'm concerned. That said, the Rashford from a year ago would have completely ignored that comment, which tells a story in itself.

Rewind 12 months back and we had possession of two potentially world-class strikers straight out of the academy, now we're on the verge of losing them both. A crying shame.

This might just be the worst season in living memory for me.

It's really sad. The pair promised so much and now it's all wasted.

i agree it was a daft thing to say when Rashford's head is a mess at the mo, but lets not make out he was insulting his mother/family or something

I never said he did.

All I'm saying is the "let's go boys" comment was not an intended nicety. I mean, he's a heckler. Hecklers don't do nice.

I have recently learned that Rashford offered him out, though. I thought he just stuck his finger up at him. What an idiot.

ok you seem to be hearing 'lets go boys' which yes would suggest something.

Im hearing 'come on boys' as in pleading for an autograph

whos correct?

Waiting an hour and a half outside the ground to point out to him he's been shit isnt supportive is it?

Rashford was shit, he knows he was shit, and it's now getting shouted at him as he leaves the ground. He blew up. Wise? No, but its hardly the end of the world and some comments in here baffle me.

Ah that old excuse. They all make millions. Doesn't give people the right to abuse them because they do. I'd have reacted the exact same way.

And what is abusing him going to achieve? Absolutely nothing. If anything probably make it worse.

Fans are going too far now. They can't contain their frustration at the club any longer. Rashford isn't the reason we are no longer the team to fear. There's hundreds of reasons.

Oh, why cant all fans be like you. The Glazers would have loved it.

Have you seen his socials? He's been getting dogs abuse for ages. Please wake up.

Also lots of players don't sign autographs especially after getting knocked out of a cup. He wasn't alone in that.

Just seems like he's being targeted for abuse. He only came on a sub too. Won't be long till you're all doing the same to Elanga.
Who gives a feck about his socials. I certainly don't and that has nothing to do with this incident, apart from the fact it shows he's more concerned with what happens on twitter than on the field.

Is he entitled to behave like a prick because someone on twitter did to him what a lot of others in the world experience?

The amount of whataboutism in this thread to protect this spoiled brat is bordering on wumming. I'm just happy to see most people are awake to his box of PR tricks.

Having seen that video,Rashford clearing sticks his finger up, his story is rubbish about pointing

I've seen scrambled eggs with stronger mentality than our players.

Pathetic how much money these guys are being paid.

Marcus, take your mbe, give it to someone who risks their lives everyday & your salary and go be a dinner lady or crossing guard.

I can't believe he actually had the nerve to consider his future with such shit performance game after game. He has been absolute shit but he's annoyed he's not playing more. Ridiculous.

I can't believe the honest, hard working kid who rose on the scenes in 2016 turned into this self-entitled, arrogant personality.

Yeah feck it. Let's all abuse all our players. That's going to fix everything.

You'd think he'd killed somebody the way you're all going in on him. What about the others? We were shocking to a man yesterday.

Have you actually watched the clip

Okay, you're right. He does say "come on boys" which changes things somewhat :p

Truth be told, it really makes little difference what the guy said meant. Rashford going to the lengths of "offering him out" is just plain ridiculous. He must feel like a proper twat right now.

You'd think he'd been killed from your meltdown.

"Go on boys" means feck off you twats??

To me, he says "come on". As in the least they can do, is go over to the fans for pictures/autographs, instead of blanking them and walking past.

In this single thread, you have dished out more "abuse" than that fan yesterday.

Honestly don't care. Rashford isnt guilty of anything that the others aren't. Every single player in this squad has been awful at times this season or in previous ones. Every one of them. Some have for 4 /5 years.

This is clearly about something else now. It's so obvious it hurts.

You'd think he'd been killed from your meltdown.

Maybe start looking at the real problem at the club then. Rashford has the most goals of any Utd player since Fergie left. He's not untouchable and has been incredibly poor this season for sure but my word how many others can we say the same about this season and previous ones.

There's a definite agenda.
