Rashford considering his future...

The hatred for the guy is really on another level...maybe he knows he ain’t at United level...that’s why he is considering his future...maybe he is learning about the pitfalls of social media the hard way...

all I care about is his form...he seems like the weight of the world is on his shoulders and I’m not entirely sure why we would not support him? Homegrown, one club kid, loves the club, is training like a beast according to RR...can’t get it to click on the pitch...He was never solid defensively and perhaps it will take a better coach to improve that side of his game. But he has never disrespected the club or the fans (until this breaking point) and has done A lot of good. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11...but fuk me...some of the hate is quite remarkable.

Should of kept his mouth shut. Acting like the school bully doesn't look well for school dinners.

The fans were in fact waiting for his autographs and got ignored.

Have you actually watched the clip

Of course. My comment re waiting outside is obviously hyperbole but that's what ended up happening. Other players came over and signed by all accounts and he didn't. I just don't see it as an issue, so he didn't want to? So what.

If I had played like that I wouldn't be too keen on facing fans either, so can understand why he kept his head down.

The club should tell Rashford to apologize for this.

He could easily write something like this: "I apologize for my behaviour after the game. The main reason was that I am very disappointed with my performance and the loss we suffered. I appreciate the support of the fans and I know they have good reasons to be upset with our results and performances this year."

Even if he doesn't mean it, it would be good PR. Much better than doubling down against "hecklers". These fans are paying for the millions he is making, not the owners of the club (the owners make money, the fans pay money, and the customer is always right).

They already shared his tweet and then pushed notifications on my phone to notice that Rashford has spoken.

Yes, but what I read was not an apology, it was a justification of his behaviour. Am I wrong? Did I miss something?

Think he's just becoming disallusioned with the team and it's direction. Had LVG, Jose, Ole and now Raif who's also only a temp manager, so learning his tactics only to change it all again for the umpteenth time. You'd kinda get a bit sick of it. Also knowing he's a temp and not having a clue about the next one kinda makes the whole Club look clueless. Hopefully after this season it'll clear up and get him back to his best again. He needs some direction and some good man managing.

Honestly don't care. Rashford isnt guilty of anything that the others aren't. Every single player in this squad has been awful at times this season or in previous ones. Every one of them. Some have for 4 /5 years.

This is clearly about something else now. It's so obvious it hurts.
You’ve well and truly lost your head.

Rashford and Greenwood. Both wasting their obvious talents due to off field distractions. Fergie would never have allowed it.

Him actually losing his rag a bit I wouldn't have a problem with.

And a simple apology afterwards would be fine too.

However trying to make out he didn't make the one finger gesture is just bullshit and trying to protect his image.

Think it's time for him to move on. He either makes a significant improvement or takes a step back and considers if he is upto the task.

Emotions are high, Rashford is going through a tough patch. The guy is 24. You're a fecking idiot if you think he doesn't care. He might be playing like shit, maybe his work rate has been shit on the pitch, whatever. But he's been getting dogs abuse that he doesn't deserve. He's a human being, ignore the money. He'll come back from all this and come good again and I hope it's here, but fecking hell most of the United fans around have been complete cnuts with him for a long time and seem to have any sort of compassion for a player going through a tough patch where he looks shattered mentally.

Fair weather fans who don't know how to support something when the going gets tough. feck off.

CL exit, not a great performance and a ridiculous ref. I think a lot of people was on edge yesterday, including me.

The kid got piss poor form and it’s not a good time for him. Social media is not helping either.

It is actually good that he showed some fight, even though it was stupid.

If he can’t get his shit together, he will be sold eventually. But if he get his head down and fight for us and himself, we should stand behind him.

Is there an other video where something actually happens?

Now more idiots are going to shout even worse stuff at him so they can get a viral video. If I was Ralf I would only use him as a sub in games United are already winning.

Where is the the proof that he loves the club?
Certainly doesn`t show it on the pitch, everything else is just empty words.

“Come on Rashford, after that performance” Why the hell posters are calling that an abuse ? Someone please enlighten me. How in God’s name is that an abuse ? And deserve a response like this from Rashford ?

Thank you! Couldn't believe what I was reading there. I was expecting the fan to say a lot worse.

That being said, this is a storm in a teacup.

Is this true? Can somebody else from Manchester confirm this?
It isn't quite as bad as "feck off". It's basically saying to him, you've served up a shite performance so come and sign my shirt. It's a bit harsh but not that bad. Rashford overeacted he was obviously feeling bad about the result and that was salt in the wound.

[/QUOTE]

don’t worry his PR team are already on it.

He is the new balotelli
Rashford can only dream of being Balotelli.

Getting stuck with his bib, sets fireworks in house, carrying around 5000 pounds in cash, driving into a women's prison unannounced because he was curious that a prison could be exclusively for women

Personally I could not give a toss what he said, didn't say, apologises, doesn't apologise.
What I do give a toss about is that he is playing absolute dogshte and seems to be getting worse with every game.
I thought the performance threads were about on the pitch, not his off field and social media pish. Some on here seem way more interested in this than the fact the the club is going down the shitter.

Maybe start looking at the real problem at the club then. Rashford has the most goals of any Utd player since Fergie left. He's not untouchable and has been incredibly poor this season for sure but my word how many others can we say the same about this season and previous ones.

There's a definite agenda.

Disagree, he is getting no worse than any of the other supposed star players performing so woefully.

The goals stat is a bit weak when he has been here and played more than any other strikers or attackign players over that spell probably (I wont dig up stats as half of them like this are nonsense, ironically to fit an "agenda")

The players are human, he is right and shouldnt be abused in the ground, if he was. But fans have every right to be unhappy with so many of these players who are wearing the shirt many of has love for many years, earning every single week what many may take 5-10 years to earn and we are seeign all the social media, yet poor performances, lack of effort, lack of quality, lack of intelligence from so many. That is by the way of generalisation of many not a direct comment on Rashford.

The sad thing is, a lot of fans could name 15 or so players they dont really want in the shirt, seen many youtube pundits and the like naming many. Rashfor is a star player, high earner etc so he will be one high up on that list, especially when he has been embarrassingly poor for quite some tim eto be honest, not bad, really bad, one of the worst performers considering how taletned he is supposed to be

I think he had a choice of concentrating on being a star for United or becoming a voice for child poverty. The latter I love him for. It’s hindered his progression that’s for sure but who cares, he’s made a massive difference for people that needed it. Lovely guy and wish him well, maybe he’ll regain his form and motivation at another club.

Even Fergie couldn't control everything, as Ravel Morrison reminded us.
Morrison was doomed from the start. Greenwood on the other hand was showing signs and SAF would have probably disciplined him much better than our current team did

This is just weird. When he scored on his first game back I normal service had been resumed.

The guy was trending up big time to be one of the league's preeminent attackers even during early and middle stages of this injury that required surgery.
