F1 2022 Season

The idea of bringing luck in after that has to be the dumbest thing after that. If anything RB were lucky again with that safety car timing giving them the perfect opportunity to win the race . Car not being reliable is not bad luck, that is the whole essence of building an f1 car that it has to last the race. Mercedes at the end of last season built their car in an extraordinary way but ended up losing because of extraordinary circumstances which is what bad luck is like. So feck off with the Lewis is lucky bullshit
Perfectly said. Couldn't agree more.

It seemed the battery system failed/overheated then made the engine have a thermal cut out.

It didn't actually blow up because there was no smoke or fire. Considering Verstappen had the steering issues also.

Yep, good point. Earlier in the race there were issues with the brakes overheating too so maybe it screwed the charging system and started from there.

Well, It can't be more rough than wanting to die.
Damn man take care of yourself. Sport is sport, it doesn't matter in the end. But mental health is important. I hope you can talk to someone, feel free to PM me if you'd like.

Well said, cracking insight

Disappointing interview from Horner.

It was calm, measured and he wasn't being a prick. Shows what happens when you don't spend your time gloating or blaming everyone else, you can actually show your knowledge!

Good to see some exciting racing at last. Neighbours are happy, nice to see how much it matters to them and how gracious these people are.

Let's play a bit of:
Spot the difference...

Seems, MV winning last season really did a number on some.

Didnt watch F1 races like i used to for few years now, do you think this season will be worth of follow and watch, with new changes etc?

My 3 thoughts-

Ferrari are back

Red Bull and Mclaren have a lot to work to do

I need a Guenther Steiner reaction after that result from Kevin Magnussen.

Fixed.

But yes, as a very casual fan this has been a great start. A Ferrari 1-2, a Redbull meltdown, but most importantly there are some early signs that there might be more actual racing between a number of teams rather than the boring 2.

I don't think so, atleast probably not the first third of the season. Today's race was absolutely boring really, except for the end and 1-2 moments in the beginning. There is a good chance you will find more entertainment in this thread though. :D

Mercedes will still be way more worried than Red Bull.

They were on course to finish a full minute behind Ferrari and Red Bull there, less safety cars and fuel pumps.
