The irony.
Wolff said earlier it’s the safest place in Saudi Arabia. He likes his money too make no mistake.I'm not convinced Wolff wants this to go ahead morally or for sporting reasons, so him joining doesn't go either way for me.

What makes you think he’s somehow different?
He comes across as someone who respects Hamilton particularly and looking after the team rather than only money. If he's said that Saudi Arabia is the safest place to be, then that's obviously not the case.
Yea, no.
Fair enough, that's really disappointing if true. There's no gain at all from this apart from money for him.
Team principles are rent a quotes who toe the PR line while the drivers express their views. I doubt any of them believe for a second that they're safe from a missile that hit 12 miles away, that should be painfully obvious to anybody.

Here's the clip he was referring to.
If it was only a few they’d let them crack on and leave. The fact we’re into hour 3 with all team principles being called back to track and numerous attempts to talk with the drivers tells me it isn’t just a few.I suspect the majority of drivers are okay to race and there will be a handful who are staunchly against it.

Horner: F1 can't be bullied by terrorism
Speaking to Sky Sports, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said:
"The sport has to stand together collectively. Any act of terrorism shouldn't be condoned and sport shouldn't be bullied into a position. A situation like that just isn't acceptable."
"Stefano and the president are dealing with it. There's all the assurances from the organisers and we will be going racing."
I actually agree with Horner, to a point.
When does not bowing down to terrorism become not worth the risk.
One stay missile in to the track on Sunday would be horrendous
I have no idea what “they wouldn’t have much to discuss on their own” means. If it was just 2 drivers “kicking up a stink” and not wanting to drive at a track near missile attacks they’d just let them not drive and carry on without them. It’s quite clearly more than 2 drivers.Well if it was most of them they wouldn't have much to discuss on their own. And I think at least some of the team principles would have reflected the views of their drivers.
Suspect there's maybe 2-5 drivers kicking up a stink and everyone is trying to talk them round.

Russell is the GDPA director (alongside Vettel). Should be some news shortly then.
If Russell is going alone surely he’s speaking for all of them meaning they’ve taken a decision together? I think that last tweet has 47 followers or something so could be fake.
Toto vs Horner turn 1Maybe the team principles are taking the place of the drivers?![]()
Nah that's a VSCOver/under 50% chance there will be a red flag because a missle will be intercepted over the track?
