Hate this track, hopefully he is OK
Mercedes are investigating the delta between lewis and geroge as both cars have similar setup.Lewis does have an off day every once in a while and here it is.
Especially as it's concrete walls too. 170mph and no protection. Those curbs are terrifying, looks like the car could snap on the driver at any moment.
Normally dont if driver is unresponsive. Not good.No video and no audio after the crash, not a good sign.
When you get 2 red flags in qualifying after 2 restarts and 5 virtual safety cars in the previous race it's pretty clear the track isn't rightHate this track, hopefully he is OK
Superb track, like it was back in the 1980s with f1 race tracks. Dont like tracks which dont have that risk/reward element.Never seen a track where we see so many big accidents, just bin it for next year.
You look at spa making changes to make it safer and then they introduced this brutal trackHate this track, hopefully he is OK
he is out of the car. Whether he's lifted in his seat or extraction board they didn't say.Good that he's talking
If he's saying his back hurts they won't just whip him out they'll need to extract him slowly
Think they're going to need a lot of brooms to clean up the track
The track is dangerous, said it last year. When you get 2 red flags in qualifying after 2 restarts and 5 virtual safety cars in the previous race it's pretty clear the track isn't right

He always does.Lewis is so good about asking if other drivers are ok
it’s supposed to break apart to dissipate the energy and not send it through the driver - but that just shows the energy the impact was. I bet that was something like 70-80g force crash. He’s going to be pretty banged up bless himThat car was broken like I have never seen another, it was in 3 bits
same here. the war is a convenient excuse to try and break the contract but I can’t see it being easy with the saudis.Everything about this race feels wrong. Dangerous venue, concrete walls, hope they drop it for next year.
They're building one. I don't think they should race in KSA to begin with, but agree that they should have just waited for the proper track to be finished in a few years.same here. the war is a convenient excuse to try and break the contract but I can’t see it being easy with the saudis.
If they want a GP they should build a proper purpose built track.
Do teams bring replacement cars these daysLooks like he is OK, battered and bruised.
Doubt he will be racing, can HAAS , replace him this late.
Don’t need an increased risk of injury/death for it to be a good track.
Could the car be rebuilt for the race, pushing it I would think, but I was think more about Mick doubt he will drive.Do teams bring replacement cars these days
The Mick incident, for those not watching quali.
