I agree, its called 'running into a brick wall', its what happens when your life moves faster then you anticipate and at the same time the thing your good at stops working.
Surely with all their resources the club can get him the help he needs?
This culture of rewarding players who don’t deserve it is one of our biggest problems. Breeds players who aren’t interested in winning at all, this is a large part of the reason why barely anyone in our squad seems motivated by glory.

Imagine a new coach coming in and threatening to boot players out of the club. Every player will be laughing their faces off. They know that the club decides their futures, not the coach.
Maybe that's the way it should be? At a lot of clubs you have a Sporting Director or a President that decides the philosophy of the club and fits the pieces inside that. However, the worry is the guys doing it at our club? Do we think Richard Arnold has as clear an idea of how the club needs to go as say Laporta at Barca..?
Yeah, seeing more of Rashford the saviour sulking around OT and Luke 'one good season out of 8 but I want love' Shaw is really going to get my excitement levels up for next season.

I don't know it might be the best time due to their low stock at the moment. But I would lower the wages.

Agreed. Both Bruno and Rashford with the extensions have plenty of time remaining. Things can be sorted out in the summer re: new contracts.

I can understand people being frustrated with the players, and Rashford has been poor all season so deserves criticism for his performances. But sometimes people go too far.
Can't believe the hate Rashford is getting on here. I firmly believe there is a good player in him and we've all seen glimpses of it. We've been horrendously managed thus far and it is no surprise most of our players are underperforming.

Him being my namesake makes it difficult for me to say this. But if he does not start really focusing on his day job, I really don't want to see him at the club. He cannot say that his other activities have no effect until he actually gives them up for us and him to judge.

Fair assessment. Does he still have active ambassadorial duties outside of football? If he does, then it is most certainly a distraction at this stage of his career and season.
Really want him to succeed and regain that drive we once saw, the kind of imperious form we witnessed in that FA Cup game a couple of seasons ago against Crystal Palace.

It’s concerning not only how some fans didn’t (and evidently still don’t) see it but how nobody at the club saw the decline coming a mile off. He’s a really poor footballer - or least his football has been of an appalling standard - and has been for 14/18 months and yet until very, very recently he’d start any game he’d want to.

One could hazard a guess and argue that his debut came at a time when everybody in and around the club was desperately looking for a new hero. We had already gone through the Moyes debacle and it was starting to look that LvG would not be able to elevate the team to its previous heights. Rashford came on on that February Thursday night and he was a breath of fresh air, something to lift the hopes of a disheartened fanbase.
And, of course, Woodward and co. would not let the opportunity pass them by. After all, United are famous for their faith in their academy products. We were failing on the pitch and the high echelons at the club could not figure out why. But they could sell to the fans and to the rest of the world the face of a new era. Here's Marcus and he will lead us forward to new glories.
It doesn't help when the footballing people can't be heard or are non-existent in the club. Outside the United bubble, very few people could see MMM as a potent atracking trident that could spearhead the title hopes of any side in the toughest league in the world for a decade. Too many things lacking, talent wise. But here we were, being jolly and comparing Rashford to Mbappe and thinking Martial is some dribbling God.
The worst thing is the club believed the hype it had helped create. Now, we still don't know what's wrong, the fans have had enough of the owners and the players and some of the players believe that it's not their fault it's come to this. Overinflation due to lack of good judgement. And trust me they will keep feeding the bubble (new contracts) for as long as they can, because they know they can't deal with bursting it.
