Can't believe MNM is getting hyped up after a few good results again, they choked when it mattered(well, except Mbappe), whats happening now is not that important.

That is how you present stat in a meaningless manner. Psg scored a goal in the second half but was ruled offside and also had a chance with mbappe in on goal only for him to bottle that chance and not pass it to an open neymar who would have scored. Other than that it was a well manage game where Marseille didn't have much chance in the second half either, so football is much more than black and white and the complex nature seem difficult for some to grasp

So you're saying they didnt have any shots in the 2nd half? Masterclass.

No, he's saying they could of had a shot in the second half, but didn't for reasons.

Complete difference, you pochater.
Thanks for elaborating. It seems I have to do that countless of times. It is crazy. The latter part is uncalled for, the poster is just misinformed and just need someone to explain things out like I did. @SalfordRed18 shot stats arent indicative of a masterclass performance  and doesnt show the complete picture all the time. As highlighted in my posted, a game can be controlled in the midfield and opportunities created, but for reason such as bad decisions making and tactics (e.g. being a possession oriented manager like pep), shots could be limited.

I was at the game tonight; Poch's name was pretty heavily booed pre-match, after the list of starting XI names had each been hugely cheered.

Lots of frustration during the second half as Marseille felt like the better team, especially when they scored the equaliser; VAR wiping out that goal drew the biggest reaction around us of the whole second half.

Maybe difficult to blame Poch for that though, Marseille seemed react to the first half and grow into the game; not sure how it came across on TV.

It's sad that these people mock Poch's achievements at Spurs or PSG, and yet wish we were in either of those teams' position right now.

You went to a very particular game tonight, the ultras were basically silent in large chunks of time to protest of the team, I could only watch the second half on TV but it was a very weird experience for this kind of game.

That explains a bit, I was suprised at how quiet and uninvolved the stands were, barring a few moments here and there.

Any particular reason why Guendouzi is so immensely disliked? He was being clattered and booed all throughout.

I was in the Borelli stand on the right, and it felt like the whole game happened in the other half to my left.

I presume the PSG fans are annoyed by the style of football and the failure in the Champions league because they are a million points clear at the top of the league the last I looked.

I know nothing about their circumstances other than their failures in the champions league but it seems like Messi is very quiet these days. Is he not happy?

How dare they boo Poch. Don't they know he led Spurs to a CL final and finishing on 86 points, as well as having PSG playing the best football in Europe right now?

Yeah I was a little surprised at the atmosphere given the opposition, but second half was noticibly down on the first; I put that down to the balance of play being with Marseille but could've been other factors that I wasn't in on.

We were sat in one of the quadrants PSG were attacking in the second half and felt like we barely saw them at all. Basically the disallowed goal and the chance for Mbappe was about it.

Hugely impressive how Poch was able to hold off Marseille at home despite PSG being huge underdogs. Looks like they may shock France and win Ligue 1 after all, not many would have predicted PSG to finish top 3 let alone win the title. Do you reckon he already could be named the best manager to ever lead PSG?

1) He's a colossal c*nt
2) He was trained at PSG and now pretends Marseille is the club of his dreams
3) He's a huge c*nt

It's been a miracle how far they have come with that very average squad

Poch has been amazing so far. He is going to win the league with unknown youngsters messi neymar and mbappe. Such fairytale underdog story. He managed to do that with by far worst squad in the league. Sign him up

Is Messi doing what DiMaria did for us and sulking because he's not at a club he's really bothered about?

Definitely, just rename the club to Pochettino Saint Germain.

If he gets a new contract it would be a sign of PSG going in the right direction, imo, and not going with this hoard as many superstars as possible approach

Wasn't there talk of him leaving recently? Something about his professionalism being called out as well?

It was called out by a journalist with zero credibility. The only reports we have from the club or his teamates mentionned the fact that he worked very hard to be fit for the CL after his last injury. I haven't read anything credible about him leaving.

Message sent, they don't want him to continue. Honestly, I'm with them. He doesn't have the cache or performances to demand control, and PSG aren't desperate as United to accept giving it to a manager coming in unless it's a Pep or Zidane. Unfortunately this will be their downfall again, especially if Leonardo is still in charge but even with him gone, I just don't see PSG leaving their Hollywood ways, no matter how loud the noise is from the fans and the media in Paris.

8 minutes in and yet again getting outclassed tactically. Sending balls far away for Mbappé on the counters is effective but ridiculous with the quality in this squad.

Unlimited money to spend, easy league and just focusing on the CL. Plus massive pay day. Can’t see him going anywhere else.

To be fair, Zidane doesn't seem like he needs to manage a club at all. He might also be waiting for the France job.

They Neymar hype has always baffled me. He has moments of individual brilliance but is a detriment to his team in regards to his attitude and selfishness and this always reveals itself in high pressured knockout games. He reminds me a lot of Pogba actually, put him in a stacked team full of other world class players which also contains workers, leaders and characters and he can do his own thing and steal the headlines but when they are asked to steer the ship themselves they come unstuck and have no real heart for the task at hand.

Totally wrong. You can't have actually watched that much of his career if this is your opinion.

He's not an elite coach. I think it's pretty clear at this stage.

He's better off at a mid-table club, really....he seems completely out of his depth at the clubs with huge media exposure. United would have eaten him up and spit him out within a season and a half as well. Not that I'm sure ETH will do better, but at least he hasn't been exposed like that yet.
