Prime Marcelo was something else, defensively good (wouldn’t say great). And offensively the best back I’ve seen. His technique, intelligence, vision all world class. He dominated games from that LB position, against the likes of Bayern. The only other back that I’ve seen do something like that was Dani Alves.

Yep. The most consistently great performer during the 3peat, arguably our best player during that stretch. Also changed the game in Lisbon when he came on, and scored. One of the greatest LWB ever and one of the greatest players in our club's history. And you can tell everybody wants him to score today

I actually think he is better there. He plays on the right because Vinicius has the left side, but that's it.
He is clearly better on the left just not quite as good as Vini yet and unlike Vini doesn't struggle on the right
