La liga 2021/22

All time shithouse attempt by the keeper there :lol::lol:

Btw, Rodrygo is doing a fairly convincing impression of Vini here

And Ceballos is such a nearly player

Ramos was the one to take them after Ronnie left right?
Maybe they should change it from karim , it could cost them in ucl.

Crazy stat: he has missed today the same amount as in his previous 411 games at Real Madrid
Wait that can't be right? Didn't he miss one like 2 weeks ago ?
Also he hasn't taken that many pens to begin with so most of it must be from this season.

Nah. We live and die with him. If he wants to take them, he does

You might regret that one when he misse at 90 th minute against city in the second leg.
Hypothesis aside I guess you're right you give it to your best player to not deflate his ego.

If he does that's ok. You don't undermine your best player, talisman, heart and soul of the team, who carried you on his shoulders all season long and is the only reason you're there in the first place

Apparently he missed his first penalty at Madrid this very same season.

Edu off. Struggled a bit early on, got that ridiculous yellow for not even a foul, and is definitely not a lone pivot. But grew into the game, created the second goal and has been our best player after Rodrygo

Ok that's not a good sign bit looking at his ballon d'or worthy season, it doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things.

yeah , you're right on that one.

How many penalties does Benzema get?? He's not even a master at pens or something.

His goal tally this season would look far less impressive without it.

Just puts into perspective how good Suarez's 40 goal season in La Liga was.

Ah finally. We win!

PS criminal miss by Vini after that preposterous KDB-esque pass by Isco. Like taking a hammer to the David

30 goals excluding penalties. Not exactly unimpressive...

Yes, that Suarez season was monstrous but also he was part of the MSN. They scored 120+ goals between the 3 of them

Good game from Ceballos. I think he came to Madrid too soon. From what is said, his signing with Betis is more or less agreed.
La liga is won, now let's put Benzema in a bubble until the City game and hopefully Alaba´s substitution was only for precaution

So it's 7 points now. Hopefully Barcelona will want to contribute accelerating this.
4 points left. If Barcelona don't win their next two we're champions by the time we play City :D

Still very good obviously but including the penalties the numbers look a different level to this.

I mean without penalties Salah has 24 goals. Lewandowski 39. Benzema is probably going to score ~35 NPG, which is a huge return. Pretty much only Messi, Cristiano, Suarez and Lewandowski have done better afaik. And then you throw in the 14 assists and everything else he brings to the table - just look at the work he does to set up our third tonight...

I am not disagreeing but just pointing out that a year ago (or a week…) you would have never ever expected this sentence from yourself :D

Pintus is performing some type of dark magic, last year Real had like 60+ injuries and could run around for like 10 minutes. All players were collapsing on the field. Now they seem fitter than ever.

Which is odd because surely as a club you learn what works and stick to it? Even after he left you’d want to keep to his methods and routines.

Well yeah, Camavinga wasn't our player a year ago :D

Last season was a unique season tbf, and we had a small squad

But yes, hiring Pintus the first time around was Zidane's best move, and bringing him back this summer was the club's best move

Pedrerol said that Barcelona has signed a Spanish player. It could be Gayá or Carlos Soler
