They're already in europa qualification position so completely different to Leicester having to win it with no chance of getting in via league. Or him having different scenario in 2017 when Man. United finished 6th and he had to win europa to get them in CL.

Just intrigued by the scenario Mourinho could finish 8th after a full league season and barely an Ancelotti style eyebrow is raised.

It won't be a big deal. It's clear the team is going in the right direction with what they have been doing the last couple of months, and this was always going to be a transitional year for them. What matters is what they are going to do next season and which players they are going to buy/sell.

Regardless of any results, I think they benefited a lot from this season and will have a good idea how to start a rebuild in summer.

They have to finish in the top 6. But the importance of the trophy for Roma is of another nature. They haven't won a trophy since 2008 (14 years!). Leicester won a trophy last season.
