The 141st FA cup Final - Chelsea v Liverpool

To Lukakus credit VvD really struggles with him since he can't bully him physically. He just needs to find a way to hit the target

Lukaku has won some headers against VVD but there's no cohesion among the front line.

And Lukaku blasts it over
Not only headers. VVD is losing many duels to the Belgian, he is only saved so far by the latter’s wastefulness.

Chelsea need to get their clinical boots on cause I have a feeling Pool are there for the taking but not if Chelsea keep faffing!
It's the same every game. All teams just fluff their lines versus Liverpool. It's mental.

When you realise it, it's very one dimensional..

Loose ball? They don't control it, they just boot it up on the half-volley almost every time and then trap the opposition defence running back towards their own keeper.

We made our money back on Lukaku. One of only a handful of great things we've achieved in the last decade.

Another highly entertaining 0-0 between these teams.

Shearer
Two-times FA Cup finalist. Love it.
Should have joined United. But well, his loss.

He is such a poor footballer. Can't get his first touch right. Just looks cumbersome and gets in his own way.

It doesn't look to me like he's struggling with him in any way, shape or form.

The saddest part about all this is that United can put both these teams away when we're firing on all cylinders.

Would be great if this went all the way to extra time and Chelsea win it late. The weather is hot so it drains Liverpool who will have to play again in a few days. A last minute lost destroys their morale.

He was never turning down Newcastle for you guys, though. Fergie himself knew that

Soon as they came in, it was a done deal. But hindsight says his career would obviously have been more glittered had he joined you.

Says a lot about Liverpool's strength in depth that I wasn't even slightly encouraged by Salah going off.

Just watching the highlights here at HT on BBC. Alonso has to score and lukuku has to hit the target there

Going the way of the league cup final. Missing some big chances.

That Jota chance right on 45 could easily have punished them.
I did miss the first 15 or so though where Liverpool could say the same with missed chances though.

However, Salah off, Chelsea won't have a better chance.
