He might be but his CL record hasn't been great over the last decade. Basically his last good CL campaign was with Real in 2012 when they got knocked out vs Bayern on penalties. He'd have quality players in his PSG team though so would have some chances of winning the CL again.

True, that has been there issue the past couple of season, but don't believe mourinho is the answer. Mourinho will give them much more discipline, but he will clash so hard with their top players. From what i've heard Galtier's reputation isn't as high as it was a year ago after winning the league with Lille because i don't think Nice did so well in the second half of the season.
If I was Pochettino, I would be eying the Newcastle job. They have what it takes to be the next Manchester city. Howe did a good job last season, and if howe could at least take Newcastle to europa league, then there is potential at the club and Pochettino should step in and did what he did with Spurs with Newcastle.

Unless there's some rift I'm not aware of, he most likely grew up watching him in his prime.
