Premier League Gameweek 1

Koulibaly cramping after an hour after being rinsed by Demary fecking Gray. Then going down again ten mins later.

What a buy.
The ages of Azpilicueta, Silva and Koulibaly add up to more than 100 years. That's what the commentator told.

No wonder they are after Fofana. They'll have a major defensive problem during this season (particularly at CB)

Sterling's ball out wide towards Cucurella was so fortunate and took a huge deflection onto the path of Cucurella....it wasn't a great pass, just sheer fortune.

These medical emergencies seem so much more common in recent years.
Does seem that way, but are they just making it more obvious now by stopping matches?

All this chelsea team need is a CF. Astonishing they are not filling that huge and critical gap and instead trying to buy FdJ.

One good striker and they are up there fighting out with city and liverpool.

Kudos to Liverpool for snapping up Nunez immediately (probably without any negotiation) before anyone can lay their hand.

I thought there was a new rule this season that medical emergencies in the crowd wouldn't stop a game? It's more prelevant thesedays as they stop the entire game to pay attention to it, in years goneby the stadium medics would do something not team physios

Well that didn't take long, wonder what kind of emergency it was? Couldn't have been a cardiac arrest

Does seem that way, but are they just making it more obvious now by stopping matches?
Maybe, but surely it's easier to work a medical emergency without a game going on right next to it with people shouting and cheering.

Would it be worth adding some defibrillators to stadiums? I know medical emergencies aren't always heart attacks but at least if the kit is available?

Chelsea will be the same as last year IMO. Solid defensively, decent control on matches, but not exciting to watch and their lack of cutting edge hold them back from pushing higher.
