Angel Di Maria | Performances | Wife: "He only joined United for money. The food was disgusting. The women look like porcelain"

She must be so proud of her life to be known as Mrs Di Maria and everyone has to google who the f@#$ she is. Manchester doesn't need you Mrs Rat loving Leech.

These WAGS I sware to God. feck knows why these footballers bother with a relationship during their professional careers anyway. Enough time to destroy your life with a woman when you are retired.

Most footballers aren't smart either, many of them marry bimbo models just because they look good, and bimbo models marry footballers because of their juicy bank account...they are made for each other.

Di Maria's wife probably got bored in Manchester, she wanted full sunny days to show off her last summer collection from Prada...poor woman, night at 2 pm, someone pray for her please.

Imagine describing the food in an entire city as horrible, considering there is food available from practically every culture you can think of. Takes a special sort of asshat to generalise on that scale

So if you casualy walk through the streets of Manchester you have 50/50 chance that someone will kill you. ;)

Paris doesn’t exactly shower itself in glory, food might be better but when I went I was honestly shocked by the state of it.

I lived in England for 12 years and never got over how grim the winter was. Not 2pm but 4pm and it would be pitch dark. Not sure about Paris, but Madrid, Milan, Rio and other places I have lived in don't present you with such an issue.

I completely understand those who can't stand it, more so when not really there out of personal choice/preference (I did spend 12 years there after all, didn't I?).

The rest is nonsense, you can have great food and a great time in Manchester. Never had an issue finding hot flesh either.
 Anto? Dracula?

In Munich it's the same, winter can be depressing, fully dark at 4pm in late December. I guess it might not rain as much as Manchester in summer though.

Same. Not only dirty but very sketchy. Large groups of blokes hanging around on the streets near any tourist attraction or public transport station, attempting to sell knock off junk and then doing a runner when the cops turn up (who just casually walk along as they evidently didn't have the resources to actually arrest them).

Paris is great for just being able to stumble around, go to any random little cafe or restaurant and it's virtually guaranteed to be very good (although the staff usually cold).

Footballers hardly spend more than 5 years at a club on a stretch , I don't get the fuss about living in a particular city and if you are getting paid well you are incredibly dumb to be bothered by the city you are living in. And by the way they've been making living in Manchester look like living in a third world country is quite funny.

In a few years time we will have Mrs Casemiro doing the same kind of interviews.

Arent you a ray of sunshine.

Anyway too much attention for her and quotes which are what 2 years old. I mean 2 pages about her quotes, really?

Yeah, because the state of Paris at the moment is all sunshine and rainbows... These two are still massively butthurt about what happened at the club and it has nothing to do with the city. I'd feel for Di Maria if he wasn't such a cnut

It’s a shame him/his wife were such wankers because he’s a really likeable player on the pitch. I anticipate him to be a favourite for POTY in Italy this season. Outside of his Man Utd stint of course, but even that started well for about 2 months or so.

Sketchy because people are trying to flog a bit of clobber on the pavement? Paris is no different from London, in my experience.

My experiences with Paris always involve rain. And yes, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame are very pretty but you don't really live there, do you Mrs. di Maria.

Spoilt, entitled child.

A pair of absolute wetwipes.

I live in Manchester and tend to agree with her

I'm a 'normal' person with a 'normal' job, so I can't just suddenly leave and work abroad but even though I'm a massive United fan, if I was a world-class footballer there would be absolutely no chance I'd live and play here with the World to choose from!

There's very little going for the UK in general to be honest, I look forward to getting out!!

Guys, don’t take it personally. The whole of England is a shithole.

Trying to sell stuff illegally in a big group, with look outs standing by to spot the police coming, and then when they see them, signalling and the whole group packing up and doing a runner. Never seen that on that scale in London and I lived there for 5 years, saw it frequently in Paris during my trip. They were aggressive, too, making lewd comments to women and families with kids. Sometimes they weren't selling and would just be hanging outside major train stations eyeing up everyone who walks passed. Lots of pickpocketing going on too.

Are people really comparing Manchester with Paris? Crazy talk.

Most here should not let such inconsequential statements get to them so much. And tone it down on the comfort sexism at the same time.

I was born and raised in a tropical country not far from the equiator, where the sun shines 365 days a year.
I find the constant moaning about the UK's weather very boring tbh. Virtually everyone spends most of the day indoors regardless of income and weather. Unless your job drags you outside you shouldn't be complaining.
I also don think the weather is that bad. Yes, it's cloudy and a bit cold but that's it. Have you been to parts of Canada? Now that's shit weather.
Some people think life is a constant holiday.

Well I mean she’s not wrong

For real. People really getting a bit defensive over their weather and food.

But that’s precisely what many take issue with. Lot’s of other countries enjoy a more outdoors lifestyle, even in continental Europe.

My girlfriend is Italian and the difference between the UK and Italy in that regard is chalk and cheese.

Let’s be honest, a lot of our cities are pretty rough. I say that as someone who was born and brought up in London. Outside of rural areas, which have their own issues, I think the UK is an increasingly grim place. Sadly, I think it’s getting worse.

Paris gets just 1 more hour of Winter daylight than Manchester, must be a very good hour.
When you are used to it, it is a big deal, yeah. Lived in London for 5 years, and loved it, but dusk starting at 3pm in winter was depressing

Increasingly grim...because?
I immigrated to the UK in 2009 and I haven't noticed any difference in the lifestyle.
Unless you're retired, I don't see the need to be constantly outside. Maybe I am the only one that feels like that.
On weekends, yes but I and loads of people still go out and enjoy ourselves. This lady is out of touch.
And I grew up in the sun. So I am not saying this cause I don't have experience of the other side.
