Angel Di Maria | Performances | Wife: "He only joined United for money. The food was disgusting. The women look like porcelain"

Memphis had to deal with it too at Manchester
Caftards busy laughing at Di Maria, totally missing another of LVGs dig at United

There was no dig at Utd this time. That translation was missing half of what LVG was saying.

He was referring to his own decision to drop Memphis for the FA Cup Final and comparing it to the difficult relationship he had with Di Maria, whose performances and fitness were affected by problems settling into Manchester, including the break-in at his house. Said that as manager, he had to make decisions, maybe wrong in hindsight, but things work themselves out in football and he and Memphis now kisses on the mouth ...

Why is he having so much trouble with his speech? I couldn't understand a word he said
I made the same mistake as you, it turns out he's not speaking English.

Thanks for the context :)

I’m sorry but I love LvG, most likeable coach of the post-Fergie era
Oh and di Maria can get fecked

Di Maria was brought in for a PL record at the time, played in his preferred positions and was one of the very few players being given freedom by van Gaal. Why is he so bitter towards van Gaal?

He said that Van Gaal used to show him all of his errors post-match. Even if he had a good game with a goal or assist.

Di Maria is just bitter that he was pushed out of Madrid. And they carried on being as successful (if not more so) after he left

He wasn't played in his preferred position at all wtf

His positions were the same as the positions he played with Madrid. If he doesn't like being shown what he can do better then it speaks more about him than Van Gaal. If all the manager does is patting the players on the back with no intent to improve them then you don't need one.

No

"I started a game in a position, and then the next one I would be in another.

"I scored goals playing in one position, and then suddenly the next game I was picked to play in a different position.

"It's more that they didn't let me settle properly than I couldn't settle," Di Maria added.

"I left a team that was out of the European competition and far away from being champions of the Premier League.

"I don't think it was my fault or the fault of my team mates."

Here were the positions he played that season. Sure it wasn't too 'settled' but it wasn't like ADM was asked to play CB or GK. With his attributes, he should have been able to play all these positions fine and done what the manager asked of him.

he is right in that he should have played in one position to settle in but other than that he is a bellend

I actually saw him once with his family. One of them kicked a sandwich at his face and he shouted "mia y pia" - which is probably Argentinian for "I'm a prick but i wanted that sandwich today" judging by the situation. He then swiftly left when an autograph hunter asked him to sign his shirt
