Perez is the magnolia of F1 drivers, reliable, gets the job done but ultimately is a place holder until something interesting happens.
If Red Bull domination is happening then we need a 2nd driver in there that can at least keep Max honest.

The Red Bull is just rapid. Max could start 20th this season and still be on with a shout to win the race.

Well, were you happy with how this race ended?
It would have been less unfair if they’d restarted the race this time, as all the leaders had the chance to stop. However, I still don’t get why the Tifosi were booing. Max was by far the best driver/car package today and deserved the win.

Crofty is clueless and bitter. There are clear guidelines for red flagging and this didn’t meet them.
Red flagging if there’s a track obstruction with x laps to go is a fine idea but you’d have to write it into the rules.
Red flag and restarts here and in Abu Dhabi would probably have been best.
The ending was a damp squib but the correct application of the rules, ultimately still a fair result too so they need to re-think how they want to end these things, either way someone loses out.
