Come on, he always came across as having slightly fascist tendencies. He was just bright enough to laugh at himself for it. Also he's probably going to get paid a ginormous wedge while he's at it. He's almost certainly going to be less appalling than someone else they could pay to be a big name on there. His taking apart of the "free press" a few years ago on an interview was pretty good even if he's also often a bit daft.

I came up with an idea for a TV programme for Jim Davidson not too long ago. Basically it's light day-time TV like Cash in the Attic, where Jim Davidson travels the country in search of people's old gollywogs to add to his collection; you see them rummaging a bit, find it and then Jim (with an expert) will go into the history of that individual gollywog, what it represents, and how that person came to own it. Then he offers them money to take it off their hands at increasing prices as the person tries to give it to him for free.
I call it Gollywog Seeker, but open to better names. I was going to pitch it to GB News/affiliates so it's good to hear they're already working with him.
