Premier League Gameweek 14

Na, let’s wait until we see how Newcastle handle needing to win games as the season goes on rather then riding a wave of form

My opinion isn't just based on his time at Newcastle I liked him a lot at Bournemouth as well

Get in Brighton.
My coworker is Ecuadorian and he's can't contain himself right now. He's crediting his fellow Ecuadorians for Brighton's new dominance.

Newcastle have been consistent for a long time now. Daft to write them off considering they'll no doubt have money to spend in January as well.

Only watched the last ten minutes of that match but Chelsea looked like conceding every time Brighton went forward

Happened with Chelsea, happened with City.

Newcastle taking over the league is just a matter of time.

To be fair that fits my post as well! His sides tend to shut down a bit when the pressure raises.
Let’s see how Newcastle carry it on. Im not really saying he can’t do it, I hope they do as long as we get in as well. A top 4 without Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea would be glorious

Chelsea need to sack Potter and hire De Zerbi

Whoever said early on in the thread that there would be a bunch of boring draws couldn't have been more wrong!

Counter-order, piranhas! The thread to thrash today is Potter’s instead of Conte’s.

Think it was from a Chelsea fan

If that was an actual attempt at an headbutt - it was the worst one ever.

Could well happen, but their progress is more due to Howe than the Arab money. Just look at their line-up today.

Calling results now.
Bournemouth - Spuds score draw 1-1
Brentford - Wolves bore draw 0-0
Brighton Chelsea 0-1
Palace - Soton 0-1
Newcastle - Villa score draw 1-1

Not too many goals today.

Solid predicting.

I'm also more convinced by Newcastle as a team than Arsenal.... like seriously. They've absolutely deserved every point they are currently on.... Arsenal not quite. That's actually mental.
Erm, we didn't derserve 3 points against Leeds, but we deserved something out of the only game we have lost, so that balances out. The rest are undisputably deserved.

Newcastle I have no idea, I haven't watched them, but their results are good.

Win our games in hand and we're in the top 4.

Spurs are going to get beat by every decent team they play, especially away from home. Chelsea will be up and down, Newcastle will come unstuck eventually.

In no particular order, top 4 - City, Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool.

That top 4 looks like a good shout. Possibly in that order.

Genius predictions

You lot will be found out don't worry. Cracks already showing
Strange as I was expecting us to carry on winning every game...

Cracks will show in all teams at some point, possibly city aside. 'Found out' is a bit harsh considering we have gained about 30 points more than the team you support in the past 38 or so games, but we will see.

Think I agree, can't decide on the order though, hard to tell. Don't think Newcastle will have it in them to keep up over the course of the season, I think they're punching well above their weight at the moment. A lot will depend on January signings too.

So Chelsea get a pen against us for mctominay bringing someone down but Everton player can do it to Fulham? Where’s the consistency!!

Blatant pen and VAR says no. No difference to McTominay's against Chelsea.

You can guarantee if an attacker had done that to a defender and Fulham had gone on to score, VAR would have ruled it out.
