Good thing he isn'tGrealish isn’t suited to a team playing v 10 men. Moves the ball too slowly and isn’t a goal threat

With 10 men I meant! Although I can see it 10 v 10 soon with this refereeGood thing he isn't![]()
Will City get punished for failing to control their players?
How do City look like they are the one with one man up? As opposed to us who completely folded against Young Boys last season.
Fulham aren’t using the man advantage by keeping the ball. It’s the same quick counters that they’re outmanned in time and time again.
Penalty to Brentford. Henderson gives it away. Henderson yellow carded and still mouthing off. Mbeumo. 1-1.
Is this on the manager? The tactics? Not having a separate plan?
It feels like they're still intimidated by City and don't believe in their chance to win themselves, so rather stay back and try to hit them on the counterIs this on the manager? The tactics? Not having a separate plan?
Good Lord, no. Not with those Arsenal fans.If the choice is Arsenal or City then 100% would rather Arsenal.

That pen that Henderson gave away gets VAR involved for a super soft touch that puts him off balance, yet Sancho doesn't get one for being blatantly kicked in the shin. These refs are just something else.
For me it’s the manager. They’re playing it as if it’s a better chance for their plan A to succeed rather than taking advantage of the situation right now.Is this on the manager? The tactics? Not having a separate plan?
Semedo as last defender grabs a Brighton player from behind at the edge of the box. Not sure about it being an obvious goalscoring opportunity, but he didn't play the ball and ref gave a red so VAR was never going to intervene.Wolves had a man sent off, what happened?
I agree that it's a pen and it's good to see that honesty doesn't get punished like it usually is, but the difference in standards is absolutely staggering from game to game. And whether he gets a pen if he chucks himself to the ground seems to be dependent on how dramatically he throws himself to the ground, as that seems to be the basis for not awarding Sancho a penalty. Both are obvious penalties. The only reason this one even went to VAR is because he made an honest attempt to stay up and stick the ball in the empty net.
If he just chucks himself over at the point of contact, he gets it straight away.
No idea why Sancho reacted so theatrically, leaping in the air. It was seriously unnatural looking, even though he was clearly fouled.I agree that it's a pen and it's good to see that honesty doesn't get punished like it usually is, but the difference in standards is absolutely staggering from game to game. How is this phrase still a thing? I'm not having a go at you specifically, as a few commentators continue to regurgitate it.Stonewall pen and red. Can't get clearer than that. Fulham will still choke however.
That Sheffield United v. Burnley game was amazing. You are right though that Burnley can't defend set pieces.I am really impressed by Bournemouth.
Not so impressed with Burnley in the Championship. 4 set-pieces ended up as Sheffield U-goals. For a warrior like Kompany, that must have hurt![]()
And the last part of your post should really settle it, but referees are just so bloody poor.No idea why Sancho reacted so theatrically, leaping in the air. It was seriously unnatural looking, even though he was clearly fouled.
