It was always going to happen this season. Chelsea last season felt very much like Manutd of 20/21 when they finished second. The position blinded people to how poor they actually were.
Luck and benefiting from the poor form of rivals played a huge part in both finishes.

I still think it’s harsh to judge Potter this early in his tenure, especially with all the injuries Chelsea has and the new ownership structure settling in. But at the same time it does feel like maybe this was a step too big for him.

I swear I've seen Aubameyang make several runs similar to those in their previous games but he is rarely picked up by passes.

Felix' finishing has been off but he's been very good this opening half an hour, looks to both Chelsea's most creative and threatening player too.
