Premier League Gameweek 20-21

Jenas was never on the winning side against Utd in his entire career.

To be fair, there's probably plenty of other midtable quality players of his era who didn't. The rest of them don't hate us like he obviously does.

Huge call by Conte with Sarr starting. He is a real talent and appears to have gone ahead of Bissouma in Conte's thinking. Bentancur out is a huge blow though and it's a big moment for the kid.

Bissouma isn’t on the bench, so must be injured. Sarr is replacing Skipp, who’s gash. So not a big call at all.

So that's why fecking Jenas hates us so much.

Had never been able to figure it out until now.
Jenas yesterday "I don't see how this was a head injury"

2 seconds later replay shows Malacias head slam into the ground like a car crash

Merse giving spurs zero respect. Focused on the United match next week.

Redknapp face

I still do not understand, how Newcastle can be in top 4 with that team. Last year they fought against relegation, and their team this year is not much better. Players like Wilson, Longstaff, Pope and Botman do not even belong in a team that is among the 8 best. So well done, but I am still waiting for them to collapse.

They've conceded the least goals in the league. 11. They are physically superior and can run in packs for entire matches. Not the most creative, but they have a lot of movement and have good crossing.

The players you listed are good, except for Longstaff. But as a whole, they defend and work very hard with a lot of commitment. And that is evident by the best defensive record and shithouse tactics like during the penalty fiasco.

A lot of sad Conte on the touchline incoming. Arsenal will beat them comfortably.

Not sure. Spurs record at home to Arsenal is incredible over last decade. Only lost once at three different grounds so this is a fixture they always turn up for (compared to Chelsea) and Kane and Son have scored plenty although they needed Son in much better form to have a serious chance of winning this.

I think this will be a draw but then Arsenal will look at it as gaining a point on Man. City so a decent weekend's work.

Today City and United fans are together in embracing our love of Glaston and co. Lets do this redcafe.

Spurs are weak exactly where Arsenal are very good - on the wings. Sessegnon and the other dope on the right are shite.

Joelinton is a workhorse who has played his best football as a midfielder and is in the side because of his workrate. None of Bruno, Willock or Longstaff are offensive players. They are central midfielders. Bruno Fernandes is a far more offensive player than any of them. He operates in the final third.

ASM doesn’t start because he doesn’t put in the defensive shift. They stay solid, work hard, roll around, waste time and are dirty to boot. Absolutely horrible to watch. Really poor antics even on the touchline in certain games.
If one of the traditional big sides played like this they would be hated. Newcastle are getting off with it because they are a fresh face at the top.
Work rate is now basic requirement for Premier League level players. Saying that a player having great work rate means they are a defensive player is plain wrong in my book.

Arteta won't be happy with a point, he can't possibly see how Arsenal don't win today. Spurs are a one man team in Kane pretty much.

That sort of thing

I know it's Merse but Spurs comfortably beat Arsenal 3-0 all of about six months ago on their own ground (Arsenal were on a very good run at the time aswell).

This will be a very difficult match for Arsenal to win if Spurs score first today. High Arsenal line will give Spurs some chances if they move the ball quickly enough in central areas.

Fancy spurs to get something today

Yeah Arsenal have been terrible away at Spurs for years.

Arteta absolutely would be happy with a point I'd say.

Merson giving it out on the punditry he’s beyond confident. Would love for them to get smashed just to shut him up.

You just know Spurs will concede with a Lloris howler or Arsenal will have something go bizarrely their way. They've got the spirit of Liverpool in title challenges.
