Well he probably hyper doses his players with caffine just as much. Though not many of the city players are 'asthmatic' are they?Pep is definitely better than Klopp.

Tuchel is one of the most pragmatic managers around (in the sense that he looks at what he has available and what the opposition will field). If he manages a squad that's a good fit for a back three he'll do it, but if a back four makes more sense for the squad he will use that as well. He never cared much about the formation, not in the way someone like Guardiola is married to the 433.Did he not use it at psg aswell? I get he’s flexible but a lot of manager stick to a certain system. It might be best fit for Liverpool who have attacking FB that can’t defend.
So the only other alternative is to give him £400m worth of new players? They won't sack him, he's been too successful for them and there aren't that many other high quality managers available. So let's hope things get worse and we can keep topping up the popcorn.![]()
Exactly this. He’s not a nice bloke at all. He’s a smug wanker. The thing I dislike about him is he doesn't have an ounce of humility or class about him. Has he ever given credit to the opposition when his teams been beaten. Ever? Blokes a total weapon. No wonder he was the perfect fit for them.

Yeah. apparently you need to cross the halfway at least 20 times before any goals count against him. I have to say it's glorious seeing him implode. I just hope it sustains but no doubt they will be back on the gear next year, splash 150mil on Bellingham (They don't spent loads on players though allegedly) and he will be heralded as some kind of genius once again. Bavarian fraud.Third goal didn't count yesterday apparently.
Can see him being in dodgy waters if we beat them at Anfield but our record there is as bad as our early kickoff record…![]()
Agreed. He has a bit of the faux football romantic energy that the likes of Bielsa, Ander Herrera etc. do as well where he pretends it’s all about the romance of football and people lap it up.The thing I dislike about him is he doesn't have an ounce of humility or class about him. No, so I don’t see how he can be comparably “unsackable”.I didn't say anywhere that his record is comparable to SAF, it obviously isn't.

I think sacking him now would be the best thing for Liverpool but the worst thing for everyone else. The man is burnt out, devoid of ideas and for someone else to come in now and freshen it all up would be annoying.
Keep him til the summer and assess then.
Had a Liverpool fan out with me last night. Basically in tears about the whole situation. He’s fully turned against Klopp, partly because of the results, partly because of the personality. He’s been a season ticket holder for years and I pointed out he won the league for them and he needs time. His exact response was “he won the league in a season decimated with corona and in front of no fans - we might as well not have won it” and I pointed out that they have a few injuries and he rightly pointed out other teams do as well. This guy is as die hard as it gets, so it looks like the jig might be up. When he heard the quote about the third goal he went to the bar to buy us all a round cuz “he was fed up of listening to the bull shit”!

Yeah he is horrible little bully with absolutely no class at all. I genuinely can't stand the man.The thing I dislike about him is he doesn't have an ounce of humility or class about him. Your friend is clueless tbh. Liverpool won the league (as good as) with fans in the stadium, they won 25 games out of 26 when season stopped.
they didn’t get to celebrate did they. My mate celebrated it locked in his house trying to keep the noise down.
I don't know if they celebrated but your friend's point is wrong. Liverpool league title has nothing to do with "team' decimated during Covid". If not for Covid they probably would have broken City's record.
If Everton open them up on Monday night his last game will be Palace on the Saturday.I think this is the 1st time many of us are taking this thread title more seriously.

Klopps signing's are hit and miss, if he had a blank chequebook you'd expect him to squander half of it.If given a blank chequebook and the best team in the league.

True to a degree but he has no pedigree for signing players that are ready to go. The only time he's been successful is when he has 3 seasons to bed players in and get them used to the system, which is why he can only do it once every 7 years with a set of brand new players.Every manager is hit or miss with transfers

Pep's a bit mental, he apparently moved Cancelo on because he was annoyed about not starting as often as he wanted to, and Pep has this mental philosophy of 'no unhappy faces' especially if you're not picked. It seems controlling for the sake of controlling, people should be able to react as they want to as long as their professional.@Klopper76
Do you think he’s not been ruthless enough in keeping the squad fresh?
Pep moving on Cancelo and others had me thinking. It was something Fergie would often do too regularly to everyone’s surprise (Ince, Hughes, Becks, Keane, Stam, Ruud etc)
Yeah well he's not great either but they sign for top money usually so they always get the best, except for in the full back position it seems.Pep has spent over a billion. His misses aren’t of consequence as they’re benched and/or promptly replaced by another high-value signing.

I just think he's a better coach. His teams are more dominant stylistically. If given a blank chequebook and the best team in the league.
Was watching soccer Saturday (I was bored) and heard Jeff Steling tell Merson that Klopp has won 6 major trophies. The only ones I could think of was the 2 you have mentioned and the 2 cups last season. Can anyone help with the other two .?Amazing thing is, they've won 2 fecking major trophies in this so called 'era of dominance under Klopp'. Clown club
