Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Yeah keep on praising a 16 y.o Good Ebening when they have 35% ball posession. Much talent, goat potential waoooo wawa wewa.

Courtois is the only one I can think of. He played over 150 games for Atleti on loan over 3 seasons.
That's a good one. Forgot about him. Ended up being a huge success.

Brahim is still on loan at Milan? Any other players that have been on loan for 3+ years at one club?

Bakayoko too for 3 years even if not consecutive (2018/19 and then 2021-2023)

Conte has a dreadful record in the CL. Spurs will struggle to get through

Cancelo forgetting he is playing with Choupo-Moting now and not Haaland.

Somehow we end up playing a team that, on current form, is better than 90% of the teams left in the CL in the last 32 of EL.

Both of these teams dont impress me. CL is wide open this year for an outsider

Neymar doing the ‘don’t boo me’ press.

Bayern just playing it wide and whipping crosses in, which I suppose I understand given how narrow PSG are, but it feels like they're underutilising Sane and Musiala in particular. It could also be that they're just moving the ball too slowly.

Started off watching the Bayern game but it’s like watching paint dry. You know it’s bad if you put the spurs game on hoping for some excitement.

So many of the usual recent favourites are having an off-year. None of Bayern, PSG, City, Real, Chelsea, Liverpool look a patch on most of their teams from the past few years.

Would be quite nice to see Napoli win it, but it's very hard to see them keeping their bottle.

Jonathan Pearce has got to be one of the worst commentators working in football today. I cannot fecking stand him.
