Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Why are they so pumped up for this match all of a sudden? game raising cnuts.

Klopp. He may be only an above average coach, but never seen someone energize a team and the crowd quite like him.

Plus Madrid have beaten them the last bazillion times they met. :D

The way they've suddenly completely transformed form.... Thanks Everton for rolling over for them to help kickstart it

If they manage to win the fecking Cl....

The cracks are still there, mate. Newcastle played 70+ minutes with 10 men against them last week and still should’ve scored at least three. These bastards always game-raise as feck in opening 10-15 minutes at home in Europe. If you weather that storm, you’ve got a chance. As long as Madrid don’t ship a second here early doors, they can get back into this.

Alaba must be one of the biggest frauds going

Real lasted 3 mins!

Shows how ridiculous timing is with fixtures. Any time in the last 3months and they'd be swept away
Madrid have been pretty terrible themselves for a while now. Not as bad as Liverpool Ofcourse.

Real look awful defensively. Look like they’re playing with 10 men.

Liverpool will take this 3-1 I reckon.

Real to win 3-0 at the Bernabeu. Crush the hope.

Good point. Hopefully the game settles down and Real take control. Liverpool's midfield is still dogshit.

Liverpool building some momentum since that Everton win. Nice of Everton to help them out

When was the last time Real were actually good? Like consistently good? Even last season when they won the CL they just looked like a team that picked a few incisive moments to end up doing just enough to come out on top via just those few moments of quality.

I know it’s an odd thing to say about the reigning European champions but it’s been a while since I thought they looked good. Granted I only watch them in big matches in the CL and against Atletico/Barcelona so there’s also that.

Madrid need to get Mendy off the fecking pitch

How come Tchouameni isn't starting? how has he been since the transfer?

Hoping for Frankfurt to do well here, I also hope our scouts are at this game having their goggles firmly fixed on Osimhen and Kolo Muani.
I hope we also monitor a lot on Daichi Kamada as well. Since we don't know what will come out after the Sabitzer loan and that VDB will most likely be given a chance elsewhere, I would have a go at Kamada if we have to.

What the hell Liverpool leading already?
