Except it's usually against the correct Manchester club for the correct position (1st). This season has been such a shite anomaly for us.
You want to look up what the word anomaly means.

Brighton now only 4 behind Liverpool with a game in hand and I recon Leicester will beat Liverpool tomorrow.
Still have to play Newcastle, City and Villa. It’s a massive ask for them to make up 5 points on us and Newcastle, even assuming they win the game in hand.
Liverpool dropping any more points just seals the deal for us and Newcastle.

Just checked: theyve won 2 games at home since the turn of the year.
City game will likely be played at a walking pace as they will have clinched the title against Chelsea now and will be resting players ahead of FA Cup and CL finals.
If Brighton can beat Newcastle this Thursday they will have a tiny chance as they could cut the gap to 2 points by beating City. However Newcastle will play Leicester and Chelsea next so should probably not drop any points, and they have superior goal difference too so would need to drop 3 points for Brighton to pass them.
That Everton loss is so costly though as they would have had everything in their hands had they won that.
Come on Leicester, get at least a point.
Leicester are one of the worst teams I’ve seen defensively in some time. No chance they’ll get anything tonight. They’ll create chances, play some nice passing football and concede 4.

Would be nice if they could do it, but Pep won’t be resting everyone this far out from the finals. They need to stay match fit. Can also see him wanting to beat Brighton with all the hype around their manager.

So many people assuming Leicester will get something tonight. And when they get tonked by 3 or 4 goals, they'll shrug it off and be shamelessly back at it, saying the same thing about Villa at the weekend. The hope and delusion is almost admirable.

As much as I'd love if Leicester got a result vs Liverpool, think it's highly unlikely. They'll be attacking to try win it but be too poor defensively to get anything out of it 3-1 Liverpool.
Sucks that Liverpool are going to win the just 3 games so easily. United have to win at least 2. Cannot afford any slip ups.
Also anyone going into rawk meltdown or"I told you so" tirade if Leicester go ahead (highly impossible) and the game is not over, needs to be banned. But we all know that Leicester won't be able to score against the iron defense of Liverpool and will let in about 5 goals minimum. So it's a moot point.

If they’d of been at villa I’d be more confident of them dropping points. With then being at home I think they win.
The Bournemouth game is the one I’m most dreading. Our away form is awful. If we win that then I think we get top 4. May drop points to Chelsea but think we’ll beat Fulham.
Have to beat Bournemouth this week, no excuses. Do that, and I'd feel pretty confident of winning 1 of the last 2. Liverpool may even slip up against Villa and end it then and there.
