Think he'll do very well. Nkunku coming in is a huge boost to their attacking prospects. They have some young players that will be malleable to whatever Poch wants, which is good for a manager.

Top 4 first time of asking will be hard because of the competition. There are the current bunch plus Liverpool will be better next season for sure. I think they'll be looking for a huge improvement on this year and then even if it took the second year to make top 4, that would probably be acceptable from the current position.

Yes but Chelsea are not going from a bottom half club to top-4 with just a new manager and Nkunku.
I wouldn’t be so confident to count them out. They’ll obviously sign a few more players and there’s undoubtedly talent in the squad. We’ve seen the impact a good manager can have on a squad, and make no mistake Pochettino is a good manager, you need look no further than United’s bounce back this season.

Top five is going to be what matters going forward with the new CL rules.

Chelsea will be fighting Newcastle and maybe Spurs for that last spot next year and could easily get it. Adapting to European football will be a challenge for Newcastle. Spurs' prospects look pretty dire in general but if things go right they could get into the 66-69 point range which would give them a shot.

Well chelsea can aim for top like all those teams against city. But end of the season all will finish below them anyway.

We will be okay in my opinion over all. Just have to start well with proper preseason conditioning will be a welcome change this season.

Who knows. In 2012 they were poor but won CL. 15/16 terrible but very next season won the league under Conte. 20/21 looked poor then replaced Lampard with Tuchel and won CL again. Chelsea have the habit of winning trophies and overachieving, as well as underachieving.

Yes Chelsea have a habit of finishing 12th in the table with 44 points.

Not their worst finish in 20 years at all.

10th on 50 points in 2016. Not that much better than this season.

I'm but showing my opinion of this garbage club. Half made by blood money half made by wanna be rich London people. Chelsea FC is the result of shit.
I’d love to know your thoughts on your potential new owners.

Then you did not read my posts. I despise the situation of nation owned clubs, especially in England (where they talk about national assets). If United is owned by a misogynistic dictatorship trying to do sports washing, I will shit on them as much as I do with Cheaty. Or the Glazers.

I did see your posts talking about the positive Qatar motivation. Also you’re cheerleading for redemption for Greenwood.

It tells me everything I need to know about you.

Lukaku has went in another huff because Chelsea want rid of him as opposed to authorising another loan.

What a tragic signing that was.

I'm also killing mosquitoes when they enter my house. A Patrick Bateman in real life I am.

Surely from the username you understand that's only half of him talking, the other half is much more rational

"Chelsea has a culture of winning. I think in the last 10-15, Chelsea was the greatest club in England. I know the Premier League and the culture of Chelsea very well. The fans like to win, so for us, we're also excited to work with a young team."

Pochettino didn't say we need to be humble. That's enough for me.

Claiming Chelsea were the greatest club in England in the past 15 years really is stretching the "nonsense a new manager says to get the fans onside" to its limits.

We just don’t understand his genius. He obviously meant Chelsea are the only English club with two CLs in the last 15 years.

I think it was factual until 2021/22 in terms of trophies won. City probably overtaken now but obviously 2 CL’s probably edges it.
I don’t think it’s true but it’s not a massive stretch in that regards (we’ve been awful for a fair few seasons in that time period).

Seems chelsea fans are already warming up to his ideology. Claiming it was a fantastic interview and night and day from the first interview they saw from Potter.

Chelsea seems to be recruiting a lot of Brazilian and South American and somewhat following the real Madrid approach of getting talented young players. Things are already looking much brighter than that circus club known as psg.

Spurs wasn't a circus yet he still won feck all. Although it is Spurs to be fair.

I like Poch and think he will do well. But he's not an elite manager.

I didn’t want Poch but I’m warming to him. I actually think the 4231 absolutely suits our team considering the players we have. Murdryk played there under De Zerbi, wide left and was brilliant. Nkunku behind a striker is clearly his best position and Madueke on the right. I’m not sure if Jackson will be our starting striker but apparently he’s good. I haven’t seen much of him at all though.

It is critical to sign a defensive midfielder beside Enzo though. Caicedo and Enzo would be a brilliant midfield.

I’m still worried about GK though.
