Westminster Politics

In terms of Truss, I couldn't help but think that had the Queen not died, her time as PM would have been even shorter.

Of those 44 days, the first 2 were basically house-keeping / introductory and then during the next 10 there was no parliamentary business as all due to the period of national mourning.

Re GBeebies while Dan Wootton is a Johnson loyalist and will defend him to the hilt, I'd assume that many of their regular viewers despise Johnson, albeit from a right-wing perspective in terms of getting Brexit done to their specifications, immigrations and party-gate which transcended party politics? The size of Johnson's fanclub has dwindled noticeably over time.

It’s just fecked. I don’t expect any of them to actually be held to account or anything. I mean, one of those partygoers is about to get an MBE. But at the very least we need a GE.

That is called impunity, or the feel of having it. nothing on being dumb or smart. thinking that you are above the law
No doubt they feel secure in their feelings of impunity but they are also dumb, the two things aren’t mutually exclusive. Fecking disgraceful.

"Everyone who will think..."? They just can't help gaslighting the public in every utterance from their filthy mouths can they?

Can't wait to get rid of the lot of them.

He’d be slightly more convincing if he didn’t laugh through his fecking answer!

Sunak is going to abstain. How can someone be so weak?

He doesn't actually say which way he's going to vote, crap twitter as usual, but if he doesn't vote to support the committee I hope they resign from that committee in protest. Hopefully that would make his position as party leader untenable, and I can't see them having yet another leadership election without also announcing an early general election as well. Come on committee, sooner the better.
