Well it will certainly be abroad if nobody from the Premier League actually test the theory. Assuming we actually have the money then I still think we may well step in with a bigger offer if/when Bayern get closer to Levy's valuation. Bayern will absolutely not get into a bidding war, and cold hard cash could start to sway Levy when it really comes down to it.

In terms of actual cash I think we're pretty skint in the grand scheme of things.What I mean is they're usually very smart and shrewd with their transfers. They hardly ever overpaid. Tbh I couldn't find any in the last 10 years or so I think.

no player lasts forever. spurs have had years to plan for his inevitable decline or departure but they haven't got a contingency. they could have been bringing a couple of younger strikers through to replace kane but they chose not to. the situation is one of their own making, and now they'll have to spend large to replace the irreplaceable. as for kane, the smart move would be just finish out his contract and let the offers roll in next season, providing he stays injury free.
