F1 2023 Season

I imagine the trailing car just waits for drs to be the faster car instead of trying to overtake with good driving on corners and such like?

Exactly , yes. the speed advantage makes it a no-brainer for the driver to go for the overtakes at the end of the straights rather than riskier ones on corners.

To the untrained eye, it would seem they've made it more "boring" than exciting. I used to love the overtaking on corners, getting close to contact, the great driving being the reason for overtakes when I watched years ago.

I won't be surprised if this becomes a full safety car. If so those who haven't pitted yet may get an advantage.

Hamilton lucky with the SC, feel like McLaren made a mistake with the hards on Lando. Ham could take him.

Lewis got lucky there, 3r place and a set of softs, he will pass Norris on the restart.

Will the softs last 20 laps or could Lando have last laugh?

Unfortunately think Lewis will get Lando at the restart

Ryders anthem last year was awesome. This years not so much
Didn't hear Sam Ryder sing last year but I don't think he's capable of doing anything wrong, ever.

What in God's name was Damian Lewis thinking of?

Did Verstappen, Norris and Hamilton get lucky or did they wait to see if it would get upgraded to a full SC? They all went past the pit lane once whilst is was a virtual safety car.

I think they were saying Lewis was in the wrong part of the track to instantly come in during the VSC but may be wrong
