If Kane does go to Arsenal that would certainly take them up a notch but given the other signings we’re making in this window, there’s no reason to doubt that, with Kane, we can do better than Arsenal did last year.
If he wants the best chance of winning the Prem he should go to City but that’s probably not an option for him.
I said on here previously that when Kane would have 1 year on his contract, Levy would use the 100m that Real paid for Hazard in a similar scenario as a benchmark - I think that's his thinking.
But there is always going to be a team that has a good season, mathematically that's going to happen. With so many teams doing poorly, someone has to do well.
And they also don't have the Ronaldo/Neymar outliners on truly insane numbers. But their wage bill is constantly one of the top ones in football.
