Isn't the expectation that we're looking to drop like 70m EUR on Hojlund and another 30m EUR on Amrabat? Take that figure to Levy and make him say no. Or maybe he already did.
I think he's said not for sale, period. Maybe if we offered €150m (130M pounds), he'd think about it.
The issue with that is Utd currently have CL and are one of the few teams who can offer a huge transfer fee.
Next Summer Kane will be completely FREE. Free to go wherever he wants and will cost that club NOTHING.
There’s also a very real possibility (imo) that Utd don’t have CL football to offer him next Summer.
People seem to think that CL is guaranteed next season - it really isn’t. Without it, there’s literally no chance Kane chooses Utd.
Judging from our play this year & the improvements we have made in Onana (who will make EtH ball easier) I think we’ll definitely make UCL again

Last season was anomalous in how bad Liverpool and Chelsea were, both will be right back at it imo.
I agree Onana is a great signing, but I’m currently not sold on Hoijlund (compare him to the rest of the big 6’s strikers).

That's what I've been trying to get across. A striker who scores 25 goals per season for the next 3 years (I doubt he'll do that when he's 34 though), and then be "possibly" released on a free to play for Miami won't be valued at 150m.
A 150m player is someone who scores 30 goals per season for 4 years and still have the potential to be sold for at least 75m. That's how football business works. No one in their right senses will buy Kane for 150m when he's 30 years, not even an oil prince when high on booze.
100m is the maximum for him in today's inflated market and even that is stretching it a little too much.
I thought Levy might hold onto Kane if he could convince himself - even against all evidence - that he might sign a new deal if things went well at Spurs under Postecoglou. But the Kane Brothers are clearly briefing this story to the media and if they're being this clear with Levy as well then I think he'll sell, after extracting every last penny from Bayern and dragging the process out for weeks to message to supporters that he did everything possible to resist the deal and eventually get the best price.

That's expected. It's the first time since 2018 Kane's future is in his own hands. He would be the dumbest footballer ever if he signs a new contract with Spurs.
That is related to playing style and type of player - maybe depending on the style in the league, too.
I listened to a podcast of goalimpact lately that made a comparison according to their data. Players tend to age later today than 15 years before - but wingers age faster.
At the end I see it like this - players even strikers, that depend on their speed or acceleration most - especially in teams where they need that - will have problems starting the 30s. Others were instinct, experience etc. are a huge factor might even get better or with that abilities will equal out the loss they have with less speed.
In a ball possession team like Bayern Kane will have no problem with that. Atleast not in nearer future. Problem only might be injuries or injury problems that come often with age.
Question is if he really wants to do that. Not every player wants to extend their career that far.

Bayern makes the most sense. Levy doesn't sell to a rival and Kane gets the best available chance for silverware. Records get broken, but no one can take away your titles and medals. Good move for him.
But he wants to leave? Why keep a player who has tried to leave twice now in recent years. For the sake of a season? Doesn’t make sense really

Hard to say. Arsenal could have been a flash in the pan as could Newcastle although I do think they are both good, especially Newcastle. Chelsea haven't really improved and I am not sure that adding Pochettino is going to be some masterstroke. Liverpool is rebuilding their midfield so while I would expect them to do better its a crapshoot, McAllister is a good signing but we will see how the other guy (not even going to attempt to spell his name) adapts to the league. Tottenham are still woeful in my opinion. In regards to signing Kane though, while I think we are in with a good chance if he leaves on a free, I am not so sure we will be in for him. If we sign Hojlund and he does well, and with (presumably) MG coming back it may not make sense to go big for Kane in a years time. That's his whole dilemma this summer in my opinion. Most top teams will have a top striker this time next year so it seems now or never.

Oh mate the look on the Tottenham faces will be priceless... It'd be such a beautiful deterrent for young players joining Tottenham

Accept it mate, Kane has pretty much ruined his career (trophy wise) by committing to Spurs. He is probably better than Lewa from a talent wise but look at them now. It's not even a discussion. So whatever he had 2 years back isn't what he has now. Things change

He can only negotiate with foreign clubs in January so it will definitely not happen.
I don't think we would have walked away so publicly if money wasn't an obstacle. Kane was very obviously Ten Hag's first choice, and I think if Levy would have sold for 80-90mil, we would have done it.
