Maguire | he stays!

Can't blame him for not wanting to go to West Ham tbf. They're fecking shit and I think he could do better, even after the last 2 years he's had.

do you not think the fact that no major club has come in for him this summer would indicate to Harry that hes not really well thought of amongst the big clubs? I mean even the Saudi's havent been in touch and they are hovering up talent all over the place.

He might fancy his chances of holding out until nearer the end of the window for a bitter club to come in. Worst case scenario is he stays at United, which I'm sure he doesn't mind!

If he wants to dream big, then fair fecks to him.
But he’s one delusional feck if he thinks he can find a better team than West Ham this summer.

He's already in one so probably will just take his chances as they come and count his money.

West Ham had a rough league run last year and their summer transfer business is both very eventful yet huh... disjointed. Moyes is possibly in a precarious position and the club squeezed a lot of this assistants out. They're definitely phasing him out and Maguire could be stranded with a new coach next year.

On the other hand, qualified for Europe 3 years straight, won some Euro silverware, Moyes generally agreed to have a good eye and touch with CBs and the Chosen One is one of the few coaches that can survive in such a poor environment.

I honestly don't see which better PL club (project + wages) could come for him ?

There is not a single team with ambition that will even consider him, and even if there's someone desperate, their fans will cause an uproar in protest.

Ham and Moyes was his only exit option.

I wouldn't be so fecked off at him if someone as elite as Kim hadn't been on the market

Yeah and he rejected it to stay for more money

It’s just one of those things you’ve got to begrudingly accept if he stays. Yes he’s going to look like a greedy mercenary feck and it’ll probably hamper future prospects elsewhere but he’s entitled to it, because Ed Woodward signed off his ridiculous contract.

But hopefully this impasse is resolved in the next two weeks. ETH isn’t going to play him and I think he’d play Evans before Maguire just to spite him.

Most of the teams that are better than West Ham are looking to play a style of football which exposes Maguires weaknesses.

Moyes' football is a match made in heaven for Maguire. Either that or he should try and fire off to Italy.

Yeah don't forget the contracts maestro (cough) Judge played his part as well. Hoping Evans gets his spot in the squad then maybe it hits home and impasse can be resolved

Manchester United press office has announced that Liverpool have made an offer for Maguire.

Chelsea have responded by saying that even they aren't falling for that one.

Hopefully he is missing today due to negotiations with any other club and near to completing.

He won’t stay around. Just didn’t want to play for Moysey. Understandable.

I’m still pissed that ETH had him on the bench versus Wolves. That was a big mistake. I honestly think if he wasn’t on the bench we might be rid of him already. Having him on the bench last week give Maguire hope.

Your manager doesn’t want you
The fans don’t want you
Your teammates don’t appear to want you, have some pride, take the VERY BIG HINTS and go.

He's holding out for Madrid like Mbappe. But in all seriousness, it's clear he doesn't want to drop down all the way to West Ham's level and wants something bigger. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to push for a move to Villa or Newcastle in the future.

There has to be a long play here from Harry as he's currently in a very poor place. He's not wanted, the fans don't like him, and most clubs wouldn't touch him. He can't actually believe there is a way back, he'll be training with Greenwood soon.

Great message to him. Well done ETH
It's not a message.

If Maguire has truly turned down playing time with West Ham so he can earn money doing nothing for United, the there's no punishment in telling him he won't get playing time at Tottenham so he can instead earn money doing nothing at home.

Either Maguire's got a niggle. Or he's in talks about a transfer and we don't want to risk injury.
