Same here.Just when I thought I'm out, they pull me back in....
For parts of the game yesterday it looked like Lindelöf and Martinez had swapped sides or were interchangeable in their positions. Maguire has been told he isn't playing because he can't play LCB and has to play RCB as backup for Varane. Then Varane goes off and he see's Lindelöf playing on the left and the right of defence. Slap in the face is it not? What do You mean "shifted Martinez over to Maguire's side"?
Yesterday Lindelof played RCB. As a cover, he fills in the position missing, not to disorganise the backline.
Same goes when Martinez went off vs Wolves. Lindelof played LCB, just to keep Varane in his preferable position.
So was Beckham, he still got shipped out. He's close to playing. Won't be going anywhere.
Slap in the face since Shaw started over him.For parts of the game yesterday it looked like Lindelöf and Martinez had swapped sides or were interchangeable in their positions. Exactly, and the captaincy being removed etc. If he stays at this point he should be embarrassed for letting this happen.Slap in the face since Shaw started over him.
Stated there’d be a scramble at the end of the window when leverage was determined… unbelievably (not really), things swung your way as we’re unable to do anything until we’re rid of the player(s). You’ll probably offer us less now and offset more of the wage loss. Maguire and you guys are likely to come out of this happy.WHU remain interested in both Maguire and McTominay according to one of the better WHU inside sources.
I think the plan is to go for a controlling #6 next summer. Someone who is comfortable playing on the half turn against the opponent's press and progressing the ball forward. And I think that player will be coming into replace Casemiro.
In the meantime it's become evident that the plan was to develop Kobbie Mainoo in a deeper role. And it'll be interesting to see how that plays out once Mainoo returns from injury.
Nixon has been bang on recentlyHope someone more credible confirmed this.
Bruno 29 next month. Casemiro 31. They are not old. The Mount signing baffles me but ETH obviously wanted him badly. We absolutely need at least one more in this week in midfield hopefully Amrabat. We look equally awful up front which is a worry.Eh, it'll never not seem weird to me to see a midfield with 2 aging and talented but rather chaotic players in Bruno and Casemiro and not go into this summer focused on getting a calm type to play between them. Shame we didn't sign Bissouma before Spurs. He seems like that type of player and his transfer fee now looks very very reasonable.
But yeah, ideally Mainoo develops into a quality starter. Odds are generally against that, though.
Not sure we'll find it any easier to get the magical De Jong type next summer. They don't make enough of them.
Plenty of players have had pretty drastic declines from 30 onwards. 31 wouldn't be old for a Modric or Xavi type midfielder, but Casemiro's body will have been put under far more strain in his career due to both the nature of his role in the team and also his build.Bruno 29 next month. The gossip talk from London is possibly exploring a loan... Not sure how that would work, I think he needs a 1:1 replacement regardless of opinion.
Another thing from the grapevine : Might be more keen on WH than commonly reported.
You said we gave the DoF job to a head scout, which isn't true. He was never a head scout.
WHU remain interested in both Maguire and McTominay according to one of the better WHU inside sources.
There's a big difference between the head of development and the head scout. The head of development is basically the DoF and Murtough was the DoF at youth level and he put in place the recruitment structure at youth level where he appointed David Harrison as the head of youth scouting to oversee the recruitment at youth level. Harrison was at Man City previously and his role as the head of scouting at youth level is very different to the role of the person who is the head of performance, which is another title which describes a football director, DoF, head of football etc.Fine pedant, "head of football performance". The points the same, they took years to give the job to a guy who was already there.
Screw all three of them.Behave like Ronaldo, get shit on by fans.
Behave like Dean Henderson, get shit on by fans.
Behave like Maguire, be loyal and stay on, get shit on by fans.
United is really the most toxic club.
You could just admit you were wrong.Fine pedant, "head of football performance".
No it isn't.

Plz sell him and buy Todibo this week
I’ll bite, Sakura.Behave like Ronaldo, get shit on by fans.

Apparently not accepting a pay cut to move to West Ham is a crime too. It’s quite crazy that people think accepting a huge pay cut is something Maguire should willingly do when when most people wouldn’t even accept a 10% pay cut at their own job.I’ll bite, Sakura.
Ronaldo refused to show up for preseason, had Jorge Mendes doing open letters to all clubs in Europe, and then spent all season undermining the manager, culminating in an interview with Piers fecking Morgan.
Dean Henderson allegedly refused to show up for preseason/talk to the manager in his first season because, in his own words, he “didn’t want the manager to see him training”.
Two twats who were rightly moved on from the club.
Harry Maguire hasn’t done much wrong other than not be very good at football. I agree here that the fanbase are being rather toxic toward him, but that’s football fans as a whole — demand fealty from players and then get the pitchforks out when the player refuses to leave.

"I didn't really want the manager to come in and be able to see me in training because I knew he'd probably want to keep me.
Get him out of this football club! Out!! Now!!!!
