The lords eventually. Total chancer.Bet he ends up as Sir Grant Schapps.
He’s another yes man that will do and say anything for whoever is in power and will be rewarded as such.
What's the story here? Don't know him but he seems woefully under qualified for the job. Was Wallace at an end of term or push out or something?

Shappsy always nails it.Grant fecking Shapps is the new defence secretary. JFC.
Why? His priorities are nakedly awful and always has been. A grotty little careerist who gives zero fecks about the country. That $3m donation to his US college looks even more terrible now
Hypernormalisation.That can't be real![]()
Hypernormalisation.
AbsolutelyWe should start allowing these schools to be named after ministers. I bet they'd get funding ASAP.
It's literally The Thick of It.
When exactly do Labour call for a vote of no confidence?
I get that it wouldn’t pass. But surely the act of getting these craven vandals to have to vote ‘Yep, this government has my support’ is a good thing?
Some Tories in unsafe seats would have to balance electability over the party whip? Or else face an easy political win by the opposition parties come the GE?
I wonder what this could be for...
