Maguire | he stays!

Harry nobody wants you here, I can come help you pack.

Hell. I've got a day off work today. If i knew he was going I'd drive the 5-6 hours to help him as well.

I'm sure we could get an army of supporters to show how much we care for him to find a role in a new club.

I do, I'm a huge fan. Harry, don't listen to your mother. Unpack your stuff right this minute.

I am sure his mother raised him up to be a hardworking young man, she does not approve of him sitting on his ass all day.

Yes I am sure we could have a very good turnout for that event. Nice when people come together for a good cause.

Quite a lot of people want to pay Maguire full wages and put him in the reserves.

Could we set up a hotline and a bank account to raise money for him. 100k per week is abysmal to be fair.

Looks like I got this one wrong. Even West Ham couldn't be bothered improving their offer. Thought they'd take advantage of the end of the window, but no, they've dropped interest in.him.

Because it was Harry who turned down the move due to not being paid off by our club.

Can't say I blame him, considering southgate continues to pick him despite the man not having played more than 10 minutes the entire season so far.

He's the hero United deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it.
Because he's not our hero.
He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector.
A slabhead.

Only need one more injury and he might get a game. No wonder he won't leave.

Wouldnt be surprised if he ends up getting more game time....

Hopefully Varane isn't out for too long, Shaw can get back in a few months and then Harry can get back to flicking his hair from the bench.

Haven't you heard? We've signed Evans so that will likely push Harry to 5th choice.

ETH sending a real message to these unambitious wage thieves.

He's more like the fecking Joker, causing chaos whereever he appears and burning piles of Utd's cash.

Good chance West Ham will be above us in Nov/Dec, he is such a stupid human being to not take the chance playing more there. Money rly rots people from inside

Ive got a feeling we are going to end up having to play him. What people also forget, it will be a asset that will go down in value if we dont give him game time...

I doubt this is the case but imagine he thought he'd keep his cash and chance getting in the United side soon enough when we got the inevitable injury crisis..... then we sign Evans and Reguilon on deadline day and now he's gotta warm up week in week out to watch them play ahead of him.

With Amrabat(pushing Casemiro to CB), Reguilon(pushing Shaw to CB) and Evans, Ten Hag has made three new signings to not having to play the clown. New players Amrabat, Mount and Mainoo are all ahead of McTominay.

Why not sell them both to Saudi in late September, then go for Todibo and Toney for that money in January?

There's 6 England games between now and Jan. That's plenty of time.

I hate international week as well.

I can't see any way he gets picked for the last of those fixtures if he doesn't play though, if Southgate picks him for the second lot and he still hasn't played he is inviting a lot of awkward questions.

Maguire is a better player than Reguilon, although different playing positions.

Hard to say....Reguilon doesnt have 20 minutes of disastrous mistakes compilation videos on YouTube.

Lost fair amount of respect for Maguire for being more contented with the bench or the stands than playing every week. He's not exactly loved by the fans or the manager or has an emotional connection with the club based on misty-eyed memories of past glories. He isn't an average worker on £30k a year looking at taking a massive pay cut that's going to impact his family's living standards. He's rich as feck and has effectively semi-retired because he chose the option where over the length of his next contract he'd add fractionally less of additional fortune to his already accumulated fortune.

I hope we run his contract out and sit him on the bench or in the stands until he agrees to go. I've more respect for those who are choosing to go to the middle-east and play Sunday league-standard football for £40m than a supposed top-level professional footballer who's effectively gone into early retirement because he wasn't willing to compromise on terms of renumeration that would make zero difference to his or his family's standard of living or financial future.
