tyre offset helped alot this evening. This and the sprint race on RB Ring (so 2 of the 3 sprints so far) has produced some of the best racing of the entire season.
I hope there aren’t many safety cars tomorrow. Since I essentially lost 3 points due to missing the fecking picks deadline, I need about a smooth a race where people finish where they are meant to as possible. Somehow I know that ain’t happening.
Did you miss the /s?Also Ricardo is taking Perez spot next year. It’s clear they’re sabotaging him now.
It’s the fact he’s that far back to start with.Did you miss the /s?

No no, its Marko disconnecting his battery by himself.Sabotaging him? All this is his own doing.
I'm increasingly starting to wonder what Pirelli has done to become the tyre supplier of choice for F1 for all this time, and they just renewed it as well. At least bring back another choice to spice things up a bit strategy wise.Drivers will have to make at least three pit stops during Sunday's Qatar GP; there will be a maximum limit of 18 full laps per stint
FIA have confirmed this, what a farce, F1 is killing itself
I agree, needs another manufacturer to step in, Bridgestone did it years ago, but I think the US GP quite a few years ago, did not help them.I'm increasingly starting to wonder what Pirelli has done to become the tyre supplier of choice for F1 for all this time, and they just renewed it as well. Sadly correctdied a while ago. it’s just a few rich white guys buggering its corpse in the middle east.
See I'm conflicted about statements like this. F1 was more exclusive of a sport back in the 90s for instance when the larger scale attention to the sport was mostly confined to Europe and obviously track selection was more limited to said continent as well. I grew up watching the sport with my grandfather and it was very much seen as golf pre Tiger Woods to a degree. At least that's how I saw it. A glamour club of white "gentlemen" surrounded by wealthy sponsors and team bosses and then throw in things like pit "kittens" to complete the picture.died a while ago. it’s just a few rich white guys buggering its corpse in the middle east.
I assume everyone will be on the same strategy and pit within a lap of each other given most of them have the same tyre allocations available. Still will be interesting who can get the most out of their tyres.
Still not a sprint race fan, but that was a decent race, last 4 laps cracking racing.
Fair play to Max 3 times WC.
Piastri a very good sprint win, was not expecting the McLarens to be so good.
My fantasy is already fecked ,I have them way down in the top 10![]()
Yes and extra penalties as well for breaking curfew and working on the car when they shouldnt.Big crash for Perez, must have sustained some damage. Any grid pens for parts changed ?
Like Williams last time around, sounds like the car was so severely damaged they basically had to build up a new chassis. I presume teams knowingly take the penalty in those cases instead of not being able to race at all.Yes and also extra penalities

Rules are rules, always with the Mercedes BSIdiotic to be handing out penalties for repairing damage sustained in a stupid side show.
Imagine this was 2021 and George Russell torpedoed Lewis/Max at the start of a sprint race, damages their car beyond repair, then they take the double hit of having to start from the pit lane in the GP where they originally qualified on pole. Would be utterly farcical.

Merc clearly sabotaged his car!Sounds like Sainz won't be starting this race.
