The fact that some will actually believe whatever IDF come out with is insulting to the thousands that actually died...
Been denied by IDF spokesman. Lots of he said / she said between IDF & others.Wait so they gave a warning before striking, and also its a Hamas rocket that struck the hospital? Which one is it? Both cant be true.
Israeli embassy has been set on fire in Jordan.
Good point, plus like @Dan_F posted earlier, this hospital was already hit earlier too.Wait so they gave a warning before striking, and also its a Hamas rocket that struck the hospital? Which one is it? Both cant be true.
This might be factually true but it's not gonna cut it.
If they don't have some video evidence with very solid explanations...
Nobody is going to buy that.
Like when the IDF say babies are beheaded?
The IDF are hardly a credible source. You know this and I know this. They lie all the time.
Wait so they gave a warning before striking, and also its a Hamas rocket that struck the hospital? Which one is it? Both cant be true.
Classic Pogue. Like trying to play chess with pigeon. You’re talking out your hole, as per. And life is way too short to take you on.
Back on ignore you go. I’ll have to leave your blizzard of boring tweets and shite hot takes for others to savour without me.
Could've been an unattended deep fat fryer.
IDF lies, there's no question about that.
I don't know if the beheaded babies was a lie.
I firmly believe that the IDF claim about the hospital is not a lie. Israel did not do this.
Hasbara, isn't it?
Anyway, reporting what the IDF says is important here, surely?
What makes you so confident about that? Maybe they didn’t target it but perhaps hit it accidentally?
Yes, Hasbara. "Le'has'bir" is the verb, meaning, to explain.
Has'ba'ra is the action itself- explaining.
the poster you quoted said something is "blatant Hasbara" which doesn't make sense because it means "blatant explaining".
he meant "this is blatant lying from the IDF"
Based on their statement?IDF lies, there's no question about that.
I don't know if the beheaded babies was a lie.
I firmly believe that the IDF claim about the hospital is not a lie. Israel did not do this.
They subsequently denied that.
So we're back at he said / she said then.Conricus is on CNN now officially claiming it was a failed rocket launch -- not from Hamas, but instead Islamic Jihad.
My first thought do hamas even have that capability to do that much damage this is a proper warhead. The best argument against it being a Hamas misfire is the amount of damage and casualties. A Hamas rocket struck an Israeli hospital on Saturday, and the damage amounted to a hole in a wall and no casualties. We're talking a 10kg warhead at most, they aren't capable of leveling a hospital and killing 500 people.
It’s most likely Israel. They will just do what most nations states do which is blame the other guy and hope everyone forgets. The worst part is it might actually be true. But either way this was always going to be their conclusion. What are they going to say? Whoops, our bad? This is going to get extremely ugly no matter what actually happened.
In the English-speaking world Hasbara is commonly understood to refer to Israeli propaganda.
You're being unfair. @VorZakone does a good job in this forum with his tweet posting and usually is impartial.Where was this rigour when you were posting tweets about babies being beheaded, and women being raped next to dead bodies?
What makes you so confident about that? Maybe they didn’t target it but perhaps hit it accidentally?
Conricus is on CNN now officially claiming it was a failed rocket launch -- not from Hamas, but instead Islamic Jihad.
There has to be some extremely solid and independently verified evidence to clear Israel from this. They might cry that they are being falsily accused, but what can you expect when you carry on with rhetoric atleast on par with Hamas and ISIS from officials/ministers during this retaliation phase. "Animals", "no innocent Palestinians" etc. Even the biggest defensive argument of "they have nothing to gain but all to lose" doesn't really hold up strong either, considering they're not willing to take on any criticism/condemnation onboard anyway.
Based on their statement?
They lied through their teeth about Shireen Abu Akleh. You must be believing based on hope more than anything else, surely?
How about they deliberately targeted it and don't give a shit?
I see. Can't get my head around it because I speak Hebrew, but I'll live it at that heh.
Totally agree, imagery could surely prove if it was missed launched from Israel. If it's true that IDF weren't involved, the Americans better release some.footage quick. We all know how good even their non-classified imaging is - they will have proof regardless of who did it.
It would depend how many rockets and where and what they hit I imagine. A lot of oxygen and nitrogen bottles about a hospital.Hamas rocket hits Israel - one shed damaged and 3 sheep displaced
Hamas rocket hits Gaza - 500 killed and hospital obliterated
So we're back at he said / she said then.
It's really fascinating watching everyone postulate on who blew up a f'cking hospital.
Blew. Up. A. Hospital.
The hell is wrong with the world. That one incident should have entire reports done it, and people held accountable. But it's just another mass death in this escalation.
If it's true that IDF weren't involved, the Americans better release some.footage quick. We all know how good even their non-classified imaging is - they will have proof regardless of who did it.
But what are you basing that on? Is it just their statement or something you’ve seen / heard otherwise? They absolutely lied then. And many other times.
But I don't believe this one is a lie.
