Unfortunately they are probably giving a just-about logical enough explanation that the extremists in the Israel supporting side will have something to cling to. Although you could argue they lost causes anyway.

Curiously when I respond with mild disagreement or something you don't like, there you suddenly appear, quick as a flash to leap onto the post and smear your vapid utterance back at me. The best argument against it being a Hamas misfire is the amount of damage and casualties. A Hamas rocket struck an Israeli hospital on Saturday, and the damage amounted to a hole in a wall and no casualties. We're talking a 10kg warhead at most, they aren't capable of leveling a hospital and killing 500 people.

Has'ba'ra is the action itself- explaining.

the poster you quoted said something is "blatant Hasbara" which doesn't make sense because it means "blatant explaining".
he meant "this is blatant lying from the IDF"

Conricus is on CNN now officially claiming it was a failed rocket launch -- not from Hamas, but instead Islamic Jihad.

In the English-speaking world Hasbara is commonly understood to refer to Israeli propaganda.
 
There has to be some extremely solid and independently verified evidence to clear Israel from this. They might cry that they are being falsily accused, but what can you expect when you carry on with rhetoric atleast on par with Hamas and ISIS from officials/ministers during this retaliation phase. "Animals", "no innocent Palestinians" etc. Even the biggest defensive argument of "they have nothing to gain but all to lose" doesn't really hold up strong either, considering they're not willing to take on any criticism/condemnation onboard anyway.

My first thought do hamas even have that capability to do that much damage this is a proper warhead.
 
If it's true that IDF weren't involved, the Americans better release some.footage quick. We all know how good even their non-classified imaging is - they will have proof regardless of who did it.

If it was hit by the IDF, then it would have been accidently. It's just not in Israel's interest to do it.

Anyhow, some videos I've seen seem to strengthen the IDF's claim.
 
It's really fascinating watching everyone postulate on who blew up a f'cking hospital.

The hell is wrong with the world. That one incident should have entire reports done it, and people held accountable. But it's just another mass death in this escalation.

Pretty much my view as well.

Perhaps it really wasn't Israel but the onus will be on them to prove so. They will deny it, they always initially do. Already its simultaneously both PIJ and Hamas, based on who you speak to......

It would depend how many rockets and where and what they hit I imagine. A lot of oxygen and nitrogen bottles about a hospital.

Not that I am saying it's true.

I was just thinking, are we under the impression that every millimeter on the Gaza Strip is somehow videotaped?
Is it possible?

I assume what's more likely is that we'll never know because, if it wasn't Israel, and it was an error by Hamas/Islamic Jihad, there's not gonna be footage of it?
