Concerning at no Reguilon. Was hoping we would be able to play a LB finally.

Hoping that's Bruno deeper and McTominay more advanced. Get him in the box where he can bring his finishing qualities
I thought Reguilon was announced as available by ETH. Weird not to at least have him on the bench in that case in the place of VDB or someone...

I would keep Bruno upfront and McTominay deeper.
We need Bruno's creativity upfront and I fear that Bruno will lose the ball in dangerous positions if he plays deeper.

Lindelof - Maguire - Evans, with McTominay in front of them, and Antony. Brutal lineup. And that bench. Luckily Sheffield are even worse.
Surely it is Lindelof at RB, Maguire and Evans CB then Dalot at LB. The McT and Amrabat in front of them.

I hope they're really that bad. Otherwise it'll be a hard watch. We probably have the slowest CB pair in the league, with a high line.

We did spend more on two of those players then the whole Blades squad combined.

At least he's realised you can't play both Mount and Bruno.
A few people could have told him that £55mil ago.

We needed another starting midfielder to go alongside Amrabat/Cas. It’s one game but this doesn’t bode well fresh off an international break.

Maguire will probably be giving an 'I told you so!' interview on Monday. We'll score 3 and concede 3 tonight.

That's a decent bench though, not gonna lie. MaccyT does deserve his start to be fair.

If we win and the score stays the same between Arsenal and Chelsea then we're just six points off top spot. Title challenge here we come

Fully expecting Sheffield to shoot on sight tonight, like Spurs did against De Gea years ago. Hoping they are as ineffective as Spurs were back then.

Agains Sheffield U I would prefer Eriksen on the midfield instead of Amrabat. His technique is better and he would be better at holding on to the ball and be creative.

whats wrong with our bench? looks good to me.

Who cares who is in the back four? Any shot that goes on target is going in with that keeper.

That’s my only real worry with our starting XI, the dodgy keeper. Hopefully we can keep Sheffield to taking shots from 20 yards out and further. Anything closer is serious trouble for us.

    Hideous back 5. Yikes.

We're about to make the worst team in the league look like title contenders.

So our starting LB, backup LB and the LB loaned in to cover our injured LBs have all gotten injured?

Please can we score an early couple of goals and have a relaxing second half. I’m wet through by the hour mark these days.
Posts that feel sexual but aren’t

Madness how we only have one fit natural fullback available. These injuries really are killing us.

Maguire has played well his last two united games and played well for england, hes in on merit as is Mctominay who completely saved us in the last game.
Plenty on the bench if it goes tits up.

They weren't exactly pulling up trees to begin with, but with so many injuries... I don't think they'd get promoted if they were in the Championship. They are terrible going forward, so even this backline should be able to deal it. I don't think we will smash them but should be smooth sailing throughout.
