I wouldnt say anything since it would have been just a normal performance. Nothing brilliant or class about it. But Maguire does get over the top critism and in return people feel the need to also give him over the top praise. He just played like should be expected of him and any other starting defender. No major mistakes and even a few good passes. That really isnt class or brilliant i think.

Gladly take the three points. Because, believe me, we will need these points. We have some serious problems and I am losing faith in the capability of ETH. We look lost. We do not have any game plan at all. That is a fact. And the players know it. You can see they know this.

We cannot build an attack? We cannot retain possession? So what is ETH asking the players to do on the traning ground?

Eriksen made a difference, and yes, Maguire was our best player, easily. And he, for me, now has the shirt. SMT needs to start next game.

Fairplay to Maguire, very solid performance ftom him today but as a team we seriously have to raise the overall level. But nonetheless a very iimportant 3 points on a very sad day for the club.

Our midfield is painfully average. I've seen enough from Amrabat to know I don't fancy him for more than this season.

Until Eriksen plays, there isn't a player capable of playing between the lines, but Eriksen means playing with someone without running ability so you can't win.

It's painfully obvious why we were obsessed with De Jong, but you'd think with modern data analysis, they could identify someone of the same style who could be signed instead of him right?
